In undertaking "Whatever Happened to Tyrell Biggs?", our primary purpose was to contrast the life that Tyrell once had with the life he now has - the career of an international star with unlimited potential versus the life of a man working in an inner-city recreational community center and struggling to get by.

We learned what boxing and independent filmmaking have in common - besides taking a lot of hard knocks - to succeed it requires a major commitment by an entire community.
