And how is it morononic? All I stated is that the last 3 guys Rashad fought, that didn't absolutely suck at striking, had him hurt at some point. Truth. :deal

But you're trying to slag off all of those men's strengths which lay in other areas. Styles make fights we all know that. Lyoto Machida has knocked out plenty of tough guys so saying he got KO'd by him isn't such a bad thing. Evans changed after that fight. He realized he was boxing with a kickboxer and lost to a master. He went back to his roots in his subsequent fights and has mixed in his striking when it benefits him. In losing he became a complete fighter.

No this is a serious question to everyone here but what kind of gym have you trained in? In gyms who do the top guys train with? Spar with? Roll with? The other top guys. Who was the top guy when Jon Jones came into Jackson's gym? Rashad Evans was champion when Jones was starting. Think about it. Rashad has been in the heat with Jon a thousand times before. Rashad isn't going to box with Jones he is going to outwrestle him and throw him on his head every chance he gets until he gets close enough to crack his chin. Jones is going to be a great fighter one day make no mistake about it and this loss to Evans is going to help forge him into it.

This lesson in MMA psychology has been brought to you by SNG of ESB.

Who has the better Chin in this matchup? Do we even know? Have either fighter proven their Chin? :think

  5. Jones will bash rashad but not as bad as shogun, Rashad will probably stay on the defensive as usual.

Apparantly Jon Jones, and this writer for BJPenn.com shows a lack of perception also.

"Jones claims are most likely due to Rashad being badly knocked out in his bout with Lyoto Machida and in the following two where he was rocked by Thiago Silva as well as Rampage Jackson."

Rampage caught Rashad on the side of his head after he ****ed up his shot and dove headfirst into Rampage's knee. Rashad was off balance because of the punch.

Meh. Lot of pushing in there. Not a clean knock down from the punch the way the humanoids are trying to pass it off as.

Wow those two punches on the ground from Rampage looks fake as hell. How do you miss that?

He was tired, gassed, and was suddenly put into a position where he needed a big boost of energy that he didn't have, nor did he get. That is why he missed those punches.

Evans clearly went off balance at the same instant Rampage's fist touched the side of his head. I'm not even sure what there is to dispute.

I'm an occasional MMA fan, every once in awhile a fight comes along and catches my attention and this fight is one of them. I like both fighters and think there both good, but I have been impressed with Jones skills as of late. For his length dude is extremely versatile, his feet, knees, punches, elbows and wrestling are damn good. Evans is good at what he does, his experience can definitely be a factor in this fight, but I think it's going to take more then that to beat Jones, considering Rampage and Shogun who got there ass handed to them. It should be a good fight, but in the end I think Jones is going to take it.
