Tyson Fury defeated Deontay Wilder to become the WBC Heavyweight champion.
So, that means both he and Wilder will be officially inactive on BR as of tomorrow
We're hella lucky that this happened right before the pandemic..Deontay got Outclassed and fury showed the blueprint for anybody who can box to beat him. Fury forced him back, and did not allow him to throw those long, whip like right hands just like the decently talented amateur named Clemente Russo did to beat Wilder in the Olympics 12 years ago. He also gained weight, and used every trick in the book to wear Wilder out. He fouled him, leaned on him, and managed to substitute bulk for strength and mass for punching power.
Would like to see a third fight when Wilder decide to learn how to use his skills...as of now, i think he need some tuneup fight and a possible showdown with Dillian Whyte, if Whyte manage to beat povetkin (according to hearn himself , he is actually trying to make it happen).
One year ago Fury did us all a favor!
