If anyone is interested he was stopped in the 2nd round, beaten by Richard Hall. I guess thats it for Bell, he had a decent career :bbb
They were grooming Bell as the new "Savior" of the heavyweight division. Look's like its all up to David Haye now.
Lets be honest...it sort of takes away from Haye's win over Mormeck the fact that Bell has been stopped twice since Moremeck struggled with him in Paris
hmm.... 3 years off doesn't help anyone... He needs to knock that rust off.... Hopefully, he doesn't become Kelvin Davis...
Dale Brown beat the crap out of O'Neil Bell in Bell's home town, it was the worst decision I have ever seen. Bell's fans were booing him, screaming bullsh"t. I felt sorry from Brown who was "never"given a rematch. Watch that fight and puke!
Bel was done 3 years ago, let alone now. The guy was never a great tactician, but his power was undisputable. It's a shame he was a lazy fighter who always waited until the last minute to make something happen in his fights.
I remember waiting for him to make the move to hw and bring in some fresh air. instead he chose to hold the cruiserweight division for hostage. definitely an underachiever could of easily unified all titles in his prime and/or win a title at hw.
Is he ever going to get his chance at Heavyweight? his previous loss before all the time off was vs Adamek, and I remember Bell used the excuse of being drained @ Cruiser so I don't get after all the time off Bell comes back at Cruiser weight
