According to both Polish and Jamaican media, these two are very close to getting a deal done for an IBF elimination fight.

Polish media sport.pl and dziennik.pl note that while the fight is not yet signed, Bell is eager to get back in the ring and has already started training for this fight.

There are still many hurdles to get through before anything happens, the biggest one being getting the IBF on board, as there is already an IBF eliminator between "Dingaling man" Wilson and BJ Flores. That fight could be for the #2 spot as Adamek and Bell fight for the #1 spot in the IBF's rankings.

The new mandatory will obtain a bout against champion Steve Cunningham by the end of the year.

#2 don't mean **** to me because I will be avoided unless I'm the mandatory. We've tried so many time to fight Adamek but there seems to be something his team doesn't like about me.

If that fight were to come off I'd be very pleasantly surprised. With another eliminator taking place there might be a bit too much politicing in the way. But as for the match itself Id say it might be the best fight to be made in the cruiserweight divison, and there are a number of good ones to be made there. I think I'd take Adamek, as of now, but the fight is a potentialy action filled toss up.

Could it be that adamek isn't very big at the weight, or that he doesn't move his head enough to fight you.............................I say both.
Your a bad match-up for team adamek and they know it.

Two worthy opponents who should give us a great fight. Too bad it might go unnoticed by the media.

You're right Ding, it's all about becoming the mandatory. But there have been several IBF mandatories that were rated #2 at the time (yes, you read that correctly). It depends on what the IBF sends to your team in writing.

I'd actually rather see Ding vs Bell than Ding vs Flores, I think you two are made for each other. :good

That won't happen, Adamek is a popular fighter and Bell was the undisputed champ just last year.

Ding, I am interested in your opinion, what do you think about Vassiliy Jirov, can he still be a champ or not?

This will be a heartbreaking fight to see a warrior like Adamek getting outpunched by the naturally bigger man/puncher in Bell. Adamek is going to get beat up and punished by the Supernova.

Maybe he'll outbox him ala PBF.

I hope so bro, I hope so.. My heart is definitely with Adamek but he's at a major disadvantage and I don't see how he could win..

What can he do to win?

Not gas like Mormeck did in his first fight with Bell.

Watch footage of Dale Brown vs O'Neill Bell.

Box and not get caught up in a slugfest.

Yup. As unproven as Adamek is at Cruiser, and I don't think he has any business in the top 10 right now, he does have the skills to outbox Bell, and the Brown fight does prove how.

Adamek has a good jab and movement and if he employs that, Bell will be beatable. Not to mention that Bell does have possible huge issues with ring rust.
