What? did they bang your girlfriend or somethin'? :tdh

The venom in all of your comments about either of the two indicates some kind of personal beef...

Exactly. Thats why I think Wlad can get the winner of the Valuev/Golata fight in March of 2009.. then Haye in June/July if that plays out

I guess that makes sense, but I was expecting Wlad to take 6 months between *Pov* and Haye. If he wants a fight in between, great! :good

I thought that Vitali would be the one with the schedule to be more open for Valuev, but............ if Wlad wants someone in the spring, I guess he is just as avialable.

But I'd rather see Vitali fight Valuev and get his second title, personally.

Vitali holds his hands low. Valuev punches from higher than he does. You do the math.

Like I said in another thread, I think Valuev could win a few rounds, especially early, but eventually Vitali would win.

I don't get the chasing Lennox thing. If a guy's been retired for a couple of years then he's retired. Gone. Finished. Out of it. Lewis kept himself in shape for years to be the best. Since he's retired he could have been feasting on pizza, beer, kebabs and fried chicken every night. Good look to him if he has. Why should he sacrifice the Colonel's secret blend of spices to get his old bones back into shape to face a man he's already beaten?

He's retired. He's gone. History. He's got nothing to prove to anyone. So how's about the Klits leave him the **** alone?

Vitali/Valuev would probably be the only reason the WBC would allow them 2 to fight without Vit being striped of his belt...

I guess he's not looking for a Byrd fight, but those are the biggest fights, and it'll be tough making either one of them happen.

The WBC forced Klitschko on Peter so they should force Klitschko to fight Gomez next. What's good for the goose is good for the gander. All respect to Vitali but he can't just come back and call the shots.

And let me tell you, Gomez earned his shot. The Virchis fight was an eliminator and I'm pretty sure the McCall fight was too. I understand Vitali's mindset about the money not being there for the fight but the Emeritus designation kept him in the title picture for 4 years. That's like a free pass to a title fight that never expires. In this day and age of ruthless sanctioning bodies the WBC treated Vitali very nicely so the least he could do is honor their mandated challenger.

I understand. At the end of the day if it don't make dollars it don't make sense. Vitali's gonna have to fight Gomez sooner or later either way cuz he's his mandatory. His other option would be to have one more big fight and retire immediately afterward. A win over Gomez would look very good on his record and anytime either Klitschko fights there's major money involved. Vitali's name alone can carry any promotion. He wouldn't make major money but it's not like he'd come away empty handed either. The fight would do well in Germany. Plenty of money to go around.

Valuev is the only guy taller than Vitali. Valuev also happens to suck donkey balls. Vitali will be fine.
