Cotto will be hurt. But I think he will persevere.

Cotto may not use his legs as good as Mayweather, but when Mayweather faced Canelo he took the fight to him at the start of the fight watch the fight again

Canelo is better I n every single catagory, including stamina and by far punch resistance.

I see cotto running for his life after 4,5 rounds. Thats IF cotto is still standing that far into the fight.

Canelo might be the most under rated fighter on this sad site. Cotto would have to land the exact left hook he landed on Mayorga to hurt this canelo. No way does he hit close to what lara hits and Lara landed his best straight left on canelo that didn't even make him flinch.

Cotto skill wise is a level or 2 may b e 3,4 below canelo. You will all be shocked at how badly cotto getc thrashed into retirement.

I been trying to educate you guys for too long. Cotto had picked 3 perfect opponents to make him look like a new beast. I mean roach picked them.. canelo is a whole different animal.

Him and ggg will havea war that will sadly instantly shorten or possibly ruin canelo for a few years. Cotto is really no threat what so ever.

Cotto counted out, stopped by the ref.. Roach is too far gone to have any idea when his fighter is getting it taken to him. He doesn't know how to give instructions between rounds nor does he even
Know whatsunami going on inside the ring.

Canelo is NOT a glass chinned 40 yr old zero true boxing skill fighter like SM.

Are you trolling? Must be. Get it in your head, canelo is NOT that good.

If lara hits that hard, why delvin rodriguez went the full fight with him and cotto just needed two rounds????????????????????????????????

For one, cotto all attacked him.
Fyi: a fighter , any fighter knocking one out quicker than any other fighter doesnt mean he has more power, all it means is he landed the shot that hurt him quicker.

Lara is usually very defensive and fights the cuban style to the t.

Fact, canelo is the far superior fighter, the only prayer you have is this is boxing and anything can happen with top tier fighters.

If cotto somehow won that would be like Paulie beating Floyd by decision. Canelo is so much better. Well, paulie, that's too much a stretch. Be like crawford beating a 25 yrs old floyd. Very very far fetched. If you truly can't tell the talent gap between canelo and cotto idkwtftty. For real, it's massive

Funny how a " far superior " canelo only has outperformed cotto only once in 4 common opponents. . . .

I'll chime in on this one. I myself did see Margarito possibly winning that fight. When Cotto and Margarito first fought, I believed it was a pick'em fight, 50/50. Handwraps aside, I felt Margarito's chin and extremely high workrate would push Cotto to his limits.

You can't compare Canelo to Margarito. Margarito has insane stamina and throws 100 punches per round. He keeps coming relentlessly. Canelo's stamina has always been in question. He fights in spurts, then takes breaks. He is not a volume punching stalker. To beat Cotto, you either have to use movement and range (Trout/Mayweather) or you have to use effective pressure (Margarito/Pacquiao).

Canelo does not cut off the ring well and does not throw a lot of punches per round. Canelo does have a very good shot at winning, but current ****ysis criteria being used to give it to Canelo over Cotto is flawed.

No one is getting stopped. I see this one going to the cards in an excellent match.

I was slightly leaning towards Cotto but with all the WBC stuff and the GGG step aside money fiasco, I think there's no way Cotto can win a decision in this fight. Canelo will win even if by robbery.
