Only 300k buys for Pac-Alergi, When is Bob gonna stop with Mismatches on PPV???

Agree with Buck with this one, seriously why the hell Arum even mentioning Jessie Vargas or Mikey Garcia who both will do nothing for Pacquiao at this stage of his career. If the Mayweather bout fails, and Arum makes those fights, expect around 200k ppvs.

Good that Pacquiao vs Algieiri ppv flopped.

 

I wonder why Arum is always silent regarding the profitability of Macau fights. If he is losing, why did he return? Gate receipts and the 300k PPV is not enough to cover the expenses. Chinese viewers are non-PPV which means Macau businessmen have the TV rights for the Chinese viewers. If this is the case, Macau businessmen are depending on the TV rights for the main bulk of the revenue....but how is this quantified?

 

I don't think I'm going out on a limb by saying, NO ONE esb and/or other serious boxing fans expected it to succeed. However I don't think there are many if any real good fights left for Pacman. There is no one else besides Floyd and JMM who are in the same class experience and glory wise. There is a reason you don't put your young hungry slick and black boxers... er I mean young and hungry boxers up against ATG fighters before they are ready. If Rigo were a LWW, that would be a test for Pac and Floyd. But guys like Swift, King Twitter, c'mon man. There's really not many guys worth it left for these guys to fight. Now I'm not supporting the Algergy fight, I'm just saying it's not like there a dozen compelling fights out there. And on top of that, you have the dissonance with Haymon and his stable who won't play or vice versa.

 

Ok if your going off of Rick Glaser....and he said Floyd Maidana 2 did 725k.....what did the SAME SOURCE says Pac Bradley 2 did? Do you know that? If I remember he said it did 683 but im asking you since you know it

 

You asked for a source fanboy. If you take rick on his word about the 300k then take him at his word for 725k. If you don't want a source don't ask. Could care less what he says. The PAC brads fight numbers were officially released by hbo, so if rick gave a different number for that I guess he's not credible.
