As a side note.... a friend of mind asked me at a bar we usually go, about my opinion on the fight between Paul Williams vs Quintana I, and I told him that Williams was going to kill Quintana.... guess what.... Williams lost the fight and my friend, who happens to be a "casual fan" told me that I didn't know **** ...... of course I had to wait for the rematch to make my point clear.

Bottom line is that the so-called casual fan is a myth..... real fans are the ones that pay most of the times for the PPV fights.... and real fans cant be fooled unless they want to......

Everything you just named, which was supposedly 'possible' due to Floyd having a size advantage, well Floyd has done the exact same things in every single one of his fights, wether he was the bigger fighter or not.

I mean, are you kidding me? Floyd needed a size advantage to spin away from Marquez? I can count on one hand the amount of times Floyd threw after a clinch, the same for your 'holding Marquez down' argument. Those did not happen often at all, actually they happened rarely as most of the fight was fought at a distance.

I dont think you even watched the fight. Floyd`s jab and defense won him the fight. Marquez couldnt get away from the jab while Floyd saw everything coming from Marquez. Its as simple was that. Size had nothing to do with either.

I'm one of Marquez biggest fans on this board, and I said from the beggining that this fight needed to be fought at 142 lbs or lower to be considered a fair matchup.
Mayweather had'nt weighed that low in a while, but he has'nt been far off that weight either where one could say that coming down 4 or 5 lbs from the welterweight limit would have put Mayweather at too much of a weakened situation.

Would Mayweather have struggled to come down to 142 lbs??
Only because he's not accustomed to dehydrating his body at all.

.....but I guarantee you fighters like Ricky Hatton and Miguel Cotto dehydrate and struggle to make their weight limits, much more than what Mayweather would have had to struggle to make 142 lbs.

.......it did'nt happen, and well, Mayweather was'nt sporting enough to give us the satisfaction to the possibility that his matchup with Marquez may have become competitive otherwise.

Bottom line is that Mayweather, has now become the Ray Leonard and DLH of the current era......"I fight and I do whatever and whenever the hell I please. Everything is to be to my advantage. **** the fans!":?
