Its very simple, really. No one outside of Quebec gives a flying **** about boxing. One only needs to looks at the amateurish Rumble at Rama that Ontario put together, to see where boxing is at. Even in Quebec, its only Bute who has caught fire. These greedy Quebec promoters need to stop messing with my HBO programming. Its ridiculous that I pay premium monthly dues for this channel only to have some clueless promoters black out one of the most important fights on Canadian soil since Ali-Chuvalo. I guarantee you not very many people will make the trip to the Bell Center from Ontario and other provinces, just because they couldn't see this on HBO.
Dawson was boring against Glen Johnson, very boring. Their first fight Johnson almost had him out, it was much better fight. Vitali Klitschko Vs. Kirk Johnson sold out during a huge snowstorm at Madison Square Guarder, New York, New York, USA. HBO, (Home Buttocks Office) can't explain that. How about 65,000 in Germany?!
Yeah I here Pascal is not too popular in Montreal even though he should be, but its a pity cause this is an elite level fight. Lemieux fights will do much better in Quebec as he racks up the wins.
Even my father came along to watch that card. How could you not go for only 30$! That was the good old days! :good
Definitely pushes newer people in boxing away. Esp since mentioned, mainstream sports fans probably have no clue of either fighter. If the fight was in Vegas I would have tried to make it, oh well. Hopfully they sell more tickets closer to Saturday or drop the price a little
