LOL Anyone who follows the sports knows who the real stars are. I know you've been on this site for some time, so I know you know better. Is anyone really suprised this fight isn't doing big numbers in the US? This is just haters talking sh!t and critisizing Wilder, nothing more nothing less. What difference does it make? All it means is less people will see Wilder KO Fury!

A fight that everyone and their mama knows needed to be in the UK. Anywhere else brings in a small fraction of possible ticket sales.

Very disappointing if you're one of the handful of Donkey fans out there. Tyson ''2-Fast'' Fury is one of the greatest talkers and salesman in the game and he's graciously gone above and beyond the call of duty to try and raise Donkey's profile over in the US but neither the casuals or the hardcore fans are in the least bit interested in watching their countryman fight. Fury even went on the John Rogan podcast to try and help raise it which I'm told has a huge audience (like tens of millions of listeners every month huge) and still no one cares.

Hahahah did I hit a nerve my little buddy? A rather bitter reaction considering you say "nobody cares what you think now", you seem to care, bless you.

The thread is about poor sales, obviously this was a point during other negotiations and debates, Wilders value and pulling power.

But OK let's talk about the predictions of 1 million PPV buys, let's talk about a 20K venue with less than half the tickets sold..

What do you little Wilder fanboys want to talk about? because you've all gone very quiet over the last few weeks.

Shall we change your predictions? Shall we pretend you all never made them? Shall we start pretending that if Wilder Fury does 250/300k it's a huge success?

So we've been wrong all the way through?

We told you this wasn't a big fight, is it? Do big fights sell like this? Even Fury is coming out and expressing his unhappiness with the sales, should we all slaughter Fury for saying what we are saying? Is Fury a "hater"?

We told you Fury isn't a draw and certainly not in the US, well he can't be if under half the tickets are sold in this period of time.

We told you Wilder isn't a draw, he isn't. So what exactly have people like me been wrong about all the way through?

And yes some people predicted Fury would pull out, he pulled out of the Klitschko rematch, he pulled out after a weigh in against Ustinov, he is unpredictable and it wasn't an outrageous prediction by the people who made it.

Also don't think the possibility of Fury getting "injured" is gone, it always feels like to me FW fighters like BJS seem to get injured when ticket sales and the promotion is poor, so don't back yourself in to any more corners.

And I'm assuming the fighters purses are tied in to ticket sales (look at the prices) and PPV buys, so if they have guarantees of large sums they might call this off and move it to the UK for April/May next year if they are going to lose large amounts of money.

Anyway I hope it goes ahead, Let's see what it looks like on TV when it's a half full 20k arena or let's see what it looks like from a PR point of view when they are giving the rest of the tickets away so it doesn't look a disaster on TV.

You little Wilder fanboys have already made yourselves look ridiculous with your predictions and the time you all starting soiling yourselves over $1 million of ticket sales in minutes.. not understanding that the vast majority where probably bought by ticket touts and companies.

Most of you lot are a bunch of clueless morons, casuals at best who are bitter and twisted about the fact in general you were wrong and people who pointed these things out were right.

Fury is charismatic and unlike Wilder is actually trying his best trying to sell this fight. His interviews, his promotion, his pre-fight antics are getting media attention. Wilder's stuttering and "B000000mbszzzzquuuad" isn't getting any headlines.

If you think current ticket sales and interest for the fight is low, just imagine for a second Wilder's dancepartner wasn't Fury but someone as inept at marketing as Deontay himself. It would be a complete disaster.

Serge if Wilder would have come to the UK the numbers would have done much better.

All those sold tickets are definitely Fury's work. What has Donkey done other than punch a TV show mascot? Pathetic.

We have been told that Wilder has this 'real' personality that people like and will translate into a viewing audience, gate or ppv. That doesn't seem to be happening.

Fury coming off the back of Framptons undercard and fighting Pianeta, who is unheard of from casuals. Tells us nothing of his pulling power.

Fury can act the fool all he wants for media attention but casuals get interested off real hype. Whether that's from big boxing matches or real beef between the fighters. It's been a bit of a love in so far from both Wilder and Fury.

It comes down to Wilders poor choice of opponents over the years and inactivity. It's clear the American audience is not behind him. Fury also being inactive and coming from an undercard. Also the UK isn't behind Fury, yeah he's got fans but I don't see Fury filling stadiums or bringing a crowd like Hatton did or Bruno overseas.

Yes, there are people surprised.. the Wilder fans who told us all this would do 1 million plus PPV buys and were soiling themselves at 1 million worth of tickets being sold.

This isn't digging out Wilder, it's digging out the obnoxious Wilder fanboys who were unbearable, ignorant and most of the time abusive is you so much as raised the possibility this fight wouldn't do well.

They have gone quiet, very quiet, some have vanished, some have forgotten or,chose to forget their ridiculous and ignorant predictions.

Answer me one question.. If Fury is even slaughtering the sales and promotion how is what any of us saying "hating"?

Because instead of Wilder fans saying "yeah, you were right, this is struggling and my/our predictions look way off.."

And just taking it on the chin, they are doing what you are doing and ignoring the point and saying it's hate.

And btw I have predicted from the moment this was mentioned Eilder knocks Fury out.. violently so I'm not always taking aim at Wilder anyway.

And you're digging me out for what I said.. you are relying on drunk McGregor fans buying a Fury PPV? McGregor is exciting, explosive and funny.

So you believe MMA fans will find this more appealing than hardcore boxing fans and casuals boxing fans, what does that tell you about this fight?

You do know when they see a "highlight reel" of Fury they won't bother, he isn't exciting or entertaining, that's why he divides opinion in the boxing community, he fiddles and picks his way through fights.

Seriously, you were all saying this was the biggest fight in boxing 2 months ago and now you're hoping/praying MMA fans buy it so it does respectable numbers..

It gets more embarrassing by the day :risas3:

Good post, great point about Furys appeal here in the UK, he hasn't got much.

And Exactly, shouting "you big dosser" and "bomb squad" isn't selling a PPV.

Gate doesn't matter. This fight is going to sell 2.5M PPV's according to Wilder!

It says Polish but where exactly are you from?

You said across the pond, so I wanted to assume American?
