Only a 18ft ring in Manchester tonight

    Instead of the usual 22 foot ring one would expect for a fight of championship level.

    Sky reporter just said McDonnel did a good job cutting off the ring.
    There wasn't much to cut off though. :!:

    They shouldnt do these things the ring should be the same size everywhere

    It could actually make a difference in fights

    That's incorrect, it's a 22ft ring, the minimum allowed. it's 18ft inside the ropes, same as every other 22ft ring.

    Not what the SKY team stated, and certainly looks smaller.

    I thought the ring side would be stated when they were negotiating and drawing up the contract between froch and groves.

    I'm sure someone said it was a 22ft ring and 18ft inside the ropes but not sure who it was, might of been groves in an interview.
