When Whyte ducks a guaranteed £8m plus another £3m win bonus.

I will be looking out for interest to see the purse he gets for who fights instead next.

He ducked the AJ fight in June 2019 for £6m basic instead fighting unknown Cuban Oscar Rivas for £1m-£1.5m

There are matchroom mongs on youtube telling me that boxing isnt about getting paid the highest amount for a fight, It is actually about who gets the biggest split.

 

Personally feel he won't sign but the fight will likely happen anyway as Whyte will win his arbitration against the WBC and will get a 45% split. Then hey ho, hey ho, its off to purse bids we go.

Then Fury's side won't bid anywhere near the £41m as they can't manipulate the purse bids to that extent it ends up on DAZN or Fury throws the belt in the bin refusing to fight on a shitty app, that or the WBC pop in make Fury franchise champ and make Whyte v Wilder for the title to try and get Wilder to be Champ again.

Whether he signs on Friday or not, this saga is ongoing.

Look what he has had to do to become mandatory compared to what people to feed to Wilder like Stiverne and Breazeale had to do. Not even comparably fair- and their split was more than 20%

 

No chance, its now or never for Whyte. The offer on the table is a like it or lump it type deal and no judge in the world is going to say otherwise unless there's a contract signed somewhere which clearly states a promise of 45%.

 

No judge in the world is gonna claim the WBC have treated Whyte fairly when compared to other fighters. You was probably saying Wilder didn't have a leg to stand on with his arbitration.

Irrelevant about whats 'fair or not', it'll be based on contractual evidence and nothing indicates anywhere that Whyte is guarenteed 45%.

The language in the WBC rulings allowed them to make the split 20% vs 80%. They likely understand their own regulations and laws better than Whyte and his team.

 

You don't need a contract for a judge to rule in your favour. Otherwise there would be no arbitration. If you can prove you are being treated unjustly which Whyte likely can, then the judge can rule in your favour. Saying you can't without a contract is like not being employed by a company because they don't like your race/ gender/ fact you wouldn't suck the boss off in the interview etc

 

Still, irrelevant. If Whyte can prove he has been treated unfairly- and given the amount of waiting for this to be called, the sanctioning fees from all the fights he's had etc he can win it. And if anyone thinks Whyte has been treated the same as recent mandatories like Stiverne and Breazeale then you must be on crack

There's a few days left and he will sign or he won't it's very simple. but as I said in the other thread about Whyte this goes both ways and that includes fannying about by Arum and Fury who let's face it have good form.
I'm not a Whyte fanboy either I just find it funny when in these situations 95% seem to go against Whyte instantly and Fury always seems to get a pass when he's got more form for messing about and pulling out of fights.

The WBC split was at the lowest 30% for mandatory. I won't waste more time giving their official documents, as we already have done that many times.
For the Interim there was a rule that could get 45%.

Wilder date was expired, but they use Covid as an excuse for the expired date.

WBC **** on Whyte by saying they are giving this split using the fighters last 2 fight, which is an absolutely joke.
It was COVID, and the fight against Povetkin has no public. In the rematch obviously Whyte was going to get a lot less, cause he lost the first one. Also the second fight has barely any public if i remember correctly, again due to Covid.
So Whyte has good chances to win the arbitration.

The question here is this:
Can he sign the contract, without that hurting him in the arbitration, aka if he sign the contract - to looks like he is happy, and he automatically lose the case against WBC. Maybe that's the reason he don't want to sign it.

Also i very much doubt that the contract will be valid if he wins the arbitration. Will Fury team/promotion be happy if they rule to give him 30% or so.
Everything may have to go from the beginning.

Anyway as i'm not a biased blindboy all i care is top guys to fight, and i hope that Whyte sign the goddamn deal, cause while WBC has f***** him with the split, and he definitely deserved at the very least 30%, 35% would have been perfectly fair towards both, Fury promotion is paying way more than the fight could make.
So even if the court rule in his favor and he get 30-35 or even 40 or 45%, they will probably have to do it all again, and all the party will bid way less, which will mean he will get paid less at the end.

What i hope for is Whyte to sign the goddamn contract, sue the corrupt dog**** WBC and make them pay the difference, and to not promote the fight at all, and stay all quiet, so team Fury get even more mad, this would be 100% epic.

 

There is no need to write this. Fury is a proven serial ducker. He very recently ducked Fury, and he is just all talk. Only his deluded blindboys still believing his hype.
