He is not my type of guy but I do respect him. He is worthy of respect from where he has come from and what he has endured. If you ask me my prediction which you have not I would pick Fury on points provided he keeps it long and boxes if he does what he did in Wilder 3 he is asking for trouble. I know how each fighter can win and Whyte is a live dog in this.

 

I very much doubt Breazeale got more than a 20% split against Wilder. Fury only got 20% against Klitschko.

 

WBC rules were completely different. They also has a Interim Champion, and some imbecile belts.
They rules were mandatory gets 30%, and can be modified up to 45%.
They also had rules that said that Interim Champion gets up to 45%, which they remove, when Whyte starting to play hard balls with them.
Anyway Whyte and WBC have a feud and obviously WBC are trying to screw him, but the purse bid from team Fury is well beyond what this fight could make.
Even if the arbitration goes in Whyte favor and they increase the split, there is no guarantee that WBC won't find another way to screw him or so. Also they most probably have to begin the whole negotiation process all over again.
And even if Whyte get a fair split, which in my eyes that would be around 30-35%, he most probably will end up making less money than now.
It's complicated cause he is waiting for the arbitration, and if he sign the deal, he needs to cancel of his demands and give up.
Still i don't give a ..... about any of that, and just want the goddamn fight.

 

Whyte is receiving 8x would Fury got for fighting Wlad, just for perspective- and on the same split.

 

Whyte is holding up the heavyweight division, he's a mediocre fighter who has an unrealistic sense of his own worth.

It's time the WBC dropped him from their rankings, Fury can face someone else.

Fury was not looking to fight Charr, who was only mentioned by Arum as a possible replacement opponent for Fury in case the Whyte fight fell through. I guess they suspected that Whyte might chicken out at the last second just like he did when he ran scared from Otto Wallin earlier.


And, someone who’s looking to make a fight with anyone other than Whyte doesn’t break the purse break the purse bids record to stage the Whyte fight, even your peabrain should be able to comprehend with that.
