were you paying attention to the face of Gannon when he fought Kimbo But yeah maybe you are right in most of the case for the damage of the face, but not always
BJ is an absolute **** but I think it's what gets him amped. Once the fight is over, he has a moment and then becomes human again. Which fight is it when he held that lock too long. Wasn't it Pulver rematch? Didn't Babalu get chucked from UFC for the same thing. Penn is like Ali. He gets away with it because when all is said and done he is a nice guy and ****ing good.
That's a dumb as hell question. Liddell is the hardest ****er in the world to take down.......and he DWARFS GSP.
I was at the Penn-St. Pierre fight at the Mandalay Bay. I heard a guy behind me start yelling after the decision because he bet $1000 on Penn! It was actually a close fight, a good one, and in a rematch, which I wouldn't expect too soon, I think it would still be close. But St. Pierre is stronger, bigger, and I would imagine his cardio would have to be better at the higher weight class.
I don't think he admitted to wanting to kill someone. But he did choke someone until he was unconcious after he had already tapped out, and said something bad about the crowd, so Dana booted him.
why is my question dumb ? I know that Liddell is the hardest guy to bring down, but I do know that GSP is great at take down, anyway I've seen him train with TEAM CANADA WRESTLING lately(who are going to olympic), and he was putting down big guy easily(well not THAT easily but still), so that a legimate question
A big factor in takedown defense is reaction time, GSP is much quicker then anyone Liddel has been facing. If he gets to his legs before Liddel can sprawl and get an underhook then he can take him down. He is certainly strong enough to take him down once he gets in position.
Honestly at first I thought you were being sarcastic with your question. But at second thought, I'm really thinking this question requires ALOT more thought, and doesn't have quite a simple answer :good
