Only fair to rank Wlad in amongst the top 10 90's HW for what he did during that era

    Let's look at the facts.

Amassed an excellent 31-1-0 record during the 90's.

Won a Gold medal at the 96 Olympics during the 90's era. At least the second best era in HW boxing apparently.

Destroyed 90's legend and unoffical lineal and undisputed champ Alex Schulz who was in his prime. This was the first time Schulz was stopped. Wlad brutalized him inside 8 rounds. Schulz was coming into this fight from his infamous "three way robbery" trilogy of World title fights against ATG Foreman, Moorer and Botha who drug cheated in the fight. All three fights left a black mark on the sport of boxing but the purest of fans new damn well that Shulz was the true lineal and undisputed champ.

Stunningly destroyed Ring top 8 Phil Jackson within 2 rounds. Phil Jackson was good enough during the 90's to fight for ATG Lennox Lewis's WBC title in an 8 round war a few years before.

    Here is my 90's top 10 HW's.

    1. Lewis
    2. Bowe
    3. Holyfield
    4. Tyson
    5. Larry Holmes
    6. Mercer
    7. Wlad
    8. Schulz
    9. Foreman
    10. Moorer

I wish he fought Lewis, Tyson, Holyfield to see if he could hang with the greats, but he got stopped against Sanders.

it would be good if Wlad had fought ANY of these even semi prime ten, but its so strange that he never did, especially bizarre that all of these ten fought at least several of them. Its almost as if Wlad was trying to avoid them.

To be fair, Vitali fought none of them at least semi prime either, so in comparison to other top current era HWs, Wlad was doing what they did. Which means that the current crop of HWs seem miniscule compared to the 90s ones.

Wlad in the 90's was a much better fighter to watch than the crappy version we have now.
I was a fan of his back then.

Lewis sparred with Wlad on Ocean 11 set and wanted none of it since then.

a fake sparring session on a tv set made him decide he wanted none of the chinny brother, but instead face the tough one?

funny how you reverse Wlads avoidance of anyone good into 'the actual HW champions avoidance'

why not just be honest about your hero, its much better for you if you do and makes him look better too.

What you talking about chump? Wlad battered a prime version of Schulz the unoffical undisputed and lineal champ. And battered him in his own backyard too no less.

Both brothers are MASSIVE steroid CHEATS and do not deserve any ranking in the top ten.

They both have limited skills and their main asset is their height and size. Even that would not have saved them from a prime Foreman or Holmes, who would have KTTFO and cut them to a TKO.
