LOL I can see it now. Wilder all dressed up, in the middle of the living room saying "FURY, YOU ARE MY FATHER".

Wow. Did you then box a 6'9" professionally trained boxer afterward?

It's possibly the worst excuse in sporting history but no need to macho yourself up about it.

Yeah this isn't a good look for Wilder. While there's no doubt in my mind that that massive costume did fatigue him and tire him out during his ring walk. I mean it seemed like he was gasping for air when they removed that mask. But I mean to use it as an excuse is a bad bad look.

I mean hell when David Haye took off his boot and showed his swollen toe, he did that surely because he knew the excuse of a broken toe was so ridiculous sounding he felt that he had to show his toe to the world to laughably prove that the toe was legit injured. We all know a Broken swollen toe could seriously inhibit your ability to plant and use normal footwork. But it was laughable to actually say that you had a broken toe outloud becuase it sounds so ridiculous.

Likewise blaming your performance on an entrance costume, regarless of how true it was or how much it did fatigue him, still the optics of that are horrendous. I guess the difference between David Haye's toe and Wilder's entrance costume is at least Haye had a legitimate medical problem that he seemingly had no control over it, and didn't want to pull out. With Wilder to not realize how heavy the custom was, how much it would fatigue him, like that's something that he could have chosen to not wear out. Ironically during the ring walks the commentators were talking about the significance of Wilder wearing masks, particularly the gold one that he wore in previous fights how that makes him feel and all that jazz. Ironic how the mask he wore was what caused his performance to suffer this time around.

Al Haymon as an Adviser should be more involved in these issues...

Deontay Wilder depends heavily on his legs, he had two problems coming in, a strategic problem & a tactical problem:

    1. The strategic problem is coming at career heaviest (231 lbs), when his organs-speed-stamina is best at the lowest weight, unlike stocky boxers who don't lose much by gaining more pounds, their stocky body incorporates it easily.
    2. The tactical problem is the unnecessary custom on top of coming heavy at 231lbs, it can't help in a fight where he needs to have all his energy saved for the offensive effort. The Bronze Bomber streamlined body is not made for hauling weight, his body is not a Cargo vessel, the critical weight is the gloves & boxing gear, anything extra is unnecessary waste of energy.

Deontay Wilder comes at 200s (or even lower weight if its natural), will be able to drop Tyson Fury more often than he did in the first fight.

Excess weight never helps increase punching power, it increases Punch-Resistance slightly (not necessarily a good thing) at the expense of a big Stamina drain.

I disagree here. Some people can't gain weight in their legs. I'm one. I trained with a power lifter. Did everything I was supposed to only to learn from Sgt. Alexander when I was at Camp Pendleton.

there are 3 main types of athletic bodies. He also mentioned that black men overall have a tendancy to have thinner legs..while certain Europeans like Danes I think? Their calves are just are naturally bigger. Same with Somoans.

I agree with everything else you said, but from personal experience I don't think Wilder 4got to train his legs.

I once chatted with NFL's Deon Sanders back stage at a concert many moons ago LOL! He had the same issue. So he wore like 8 pairs of socks to make it look like he had calves !

They said calves are genetic and its really depend. I can agree on this, but not for the legs as a whole. While genetics always plays a role and everyone will always have a strong and a weak muscle groups, a lot of people just don`t know how to train their legs, and thats why they are lacking, a lot of people don`t like or just don`t train leg and they are lacking.
And while there is limitation lets said to how big a weak muscle group can grown i don`t think this is the case with Wilder, cause his legs are pure chicken. He just doesn`t focus on them or don`t know how to do it.
It`s pretty obvious his legs are very weak, just by looking at his balance and how he start dancing after every shot he received.

I for example lately was doing mostly gym training, and my arms for example is a muscle group that is lacking or its my weak point, or lets said its not my strongest and always lack compare to the rest of my body.

Tho i changed a lot of stuff in my arms training and start hitting them twice with different exercise between training session and they grow to 50cm(obviously not lean), while i was 135kg.
The moment i stop training them twice a week, and change the training routine to focus on my martial arts, the size on my arms drop, while my back/chest and legs are kinda the same(kinda because i obviously start cutting from 135kg).

It's a legally binding contract so at that very least he could be sued for millions
Worst case scenario he could get forcefully stripped of the title also.

    Its in the contract.

If Fury wants to skip it and fight someone else,he'll have to pay off Wilder as step aside money

I had a mortar cannon —35.5.lbs—on my back along with my pack —8lbs—- and maneuvered for 4-6 miles . At the time I also only weighted 155lbs
