Well Fury probably has a choice retire or fight Wilder next.

His Father wants him to retire, so you never know, Fury might turn around a time some point in the next few weeks and say..

"Won every belt I can win, proved I'm number 1, unbeaten, never lost my belts in the ring and I've made millions and millions, that's it I'm off".

Fury has that sort of thing in him, he is so unpredictable inside and outside the ring.

And even now, belts seem unimportant to Fury, he has owned them all, the people that seem that want to own them all the most are AJ and Wilder.

Fury might just walk away, I don't think he will but it's a possibility.

Why would he have to fight Wilder or retire!? What's to stop him from fighting Joshua or anyone else he wants!? Ie I would love it if he dropped the WBC and took the Joshua fight, leaving Whyte and Wilder to fight for it. Either that or Wilder gets step aside money ( it will be in the contract) which I'm sure he may consider taking rather than an immediate rematch with a guy who just took his soul!

If Wilder forces the rematch clause, I don't mind seeing Fury smash Wilder up again.
But how are they going to sell it to the masses ?
What are the promoters and broadcasters going to say to make it seem a contest ?
