I usually side with Beeston on the topic of being 'matched soft', but I agree with Kos and Mand wholeheartedly on Chisora.

He's only seemed to really take it seriously post-Butlin, and Baker, shot Danny and decent domestic Sexton are neither good preperation for a fighter as good as Wlad, nor sufficient gauge of Del Boys ability for him to participate in this fight.

I do think he'd give it a bloody good go, but he's nowhere near prepared to get the W IMO. Experience will he good, but really, is there any point of having a fight if you've got NO CHANCE of winning. Unless of taking it purely for the pay day, which most of us argue against.

Can anyone present me for a stylistic analysis on why Del Boy can win, other than a punchers chance? I think Chisora is quality, and has a whack on him when he gets into top gear, and he's trying out new things now, showing ability to
box and trying out more Frazier-esque bobs/weaves.

He needs more time to really get there. Dimitrienko soon, see if he can operate at a fringe level. If he can get there he's basically qualifies in this era of Heavys.

I'll back him all the way whatever path he takes, but Id prefer him to fight Vitali first :yep

 

I'd absolutely agree that Vitali would be the easiest fight.

To be honest I'm surprised and disappointed that the young heavies aren't beating the door down to get their name on a contract with as many rematches as Vitali wants.

He's an accident waiting to happen, anyone that actually moves causes him problems, throwing punches back is an added bonus of course.

Imagine the credit Chisora would get for knocking over the most overrated HW of all time, in his own backyard :hey
