I think Loma was 140 in his last fight and Rigo at close to 130. They dont even need a weigh in for this one. Loma will be taller and have a weight advantage regardless.

I think Loma cutting weight to make 126 would even things out a bit more as it'd take a little more away from him during fight night - so in that sense I think it'd be more fair.
Otherwise it's like Conor fighting Nate Diaz at 170 instead of at 155, the latter favouring Conor more than the first.

 

True but Loma would only need to cut up to 14 pounds. That is not something that will affect the fight, unless they mess it up.
Personally i hope it will be at 126 just to shut a lot of people up.
Diaz was huge at 155, similar to Canelo at 154/155.

PBF beat JMM with skill not size, he's a stylistic nightmare for JMM there's a reason why JMM was willing to fight Pac 4 times but turned down a shot at redemption and a career high payday to rematch PBF once. GGG beat Brook with size big difference there.
