    Mayweather vs Marquez
    Golovkin vs Brook
    Loma vs Rigo

All extremely similar situations. Bias depends on who you ask.

    Mayweather: 5'8",72", 147 pounds
    Marquez: 5'7", 67", 142 pounds

    Golovkin: 5'10.5", 70", 159 pounds
    Brook: 5'9", 69", 159.5 pounds

Big Difference between power and size. Golovkin beat Brock with power and skill, he had no real size advantage over Brook to exploit. Mayweather had a far more pronounced weight and reach advantage over Marquez, he exploited both as clinching and range control is a big part of "out boxing" someone.

And at the end of the day, both of these fights were against men "dragged" from two weight divisions lower. That's the facts.

To some degree, the biggest difference is Mayweather vs Marquez was contracted at a catch weight. It was changed two days before the weigh in.

But absolutely, you can't criticize Golovkin for doing it and praise Mayweather unless you are biased like Punk C and his homeboy.

Regarding Loma and Rigo..we don't even have the details yet.

You're right, we don't have the details. Best to wait.

I hate the word "dragged", it implies they were forced against their will. While I agree that the difference between Brook vs Golovkin is smaller than the difference between Mayweather vs Marquez, Golovkin still had a considerable size advantage vs Brook. It's not solely based on height.

That's why I put "dragged" in quotes, it's not my words but Nay Sayer's.

Brook out weighed Golovkin in every weigh in released to the press. Their wing span is listed as near identical. When another poster pressed me for tale of the tape, it actually found Brook to have the larger measurements.

Like I said, what Golovkin had over Brock, was durability and power which can't be measured by any size listings.

So, you don't dispute Mayweather has "dragged" fighters up from two weight divisions, then can you more clearly communicate your issue with Golovkin and Loma? You directly contrasted them with Mayweather, who you agree has done the same thing.

No way in hell is Lomachenko fake ass going up to 140 for what is sure to be a KO LOSS at the hands of Crawford. Hell, I give the M Garcia fight a 70/30 chance in favor of it NOT happening. Lomachenko fake ass don't want any...

Given Mayweather has done the same thing, it's really hard to tell what he's bitching about here.

The only way for his opening post to make sense is the implication Mayweather hasn't "dragged" anybody, but he has...so...what's he going on about?

    Fluid's not done yet.

For his 51-0 he's going to beat down Garry Kasparov!

(He was going to do Bobby Fischer but Wilder has him booked for his Big Announcement) ;)

You implied that Lomachenko dragged up Rigo 2 divisions, yet forgot to mention that Lomachenko would have fought Rigondeaux when he was campaigning at 126. It was Rigo's fault that fight didn't happen because he wanted catchweight and all sort of BS A-Side diva demands. Blame him.

Lomachenko wasn't particularly interested in doing anything to accommodate a smaller fighter, all while he was whining that expecting him to fight Walters would be pointless or unfair.

Hate to tell you this, but his size did factor in to it. You cannot just 'remove' his size advantage and pretend it did not exist at all. You are only fooling yourself Pimp.

That sums of my feeling pretty accurately.

It's an incredible fight... at like 126.

At 130, size will play too much of a role.

    What a shame.
