For his entire professional career. And barring molina none since before the Whyte fight. Tonight I’ll be missing again unfortunately. I was also at Froch Groves II so I’m yet to experience a Wembley / Cardiff fight as a sober fan watching on tv! So in a way I’m looking forward to this! I hope those of you who are going tonight have one hell of a time.
Its a pity you'll miss tonight, it will be his momentous first loss, the start of his journey to Audley Harrisondom.
Keep dreaming. I’ll be shocked if Parker makes it to the end of the 7th. That’s being generous! I previously predicted the 4th! (Now look what you’ve done! You’ve derailed my thread in to the usual AJ - Parker tit for tat!)
So... you think a guy known for how good his chin is won't last as long as Breazeale who's known for how bad his is? Okay.
ive never been to a massive fight in a big arena. My mate went Joshua Klitchko but had a seat right at the back and i mocked him cuz all he did was watch the same televised footage from screens all around him as i was watching at home. But then he didnt even say that much about the fight he was just so buzzing from the atmosphere, I think he still is. We do like to turn any sporting event into a big party really over here.
I’ve asked a question a million times and never got an answer. Name a puncher Parker has been in with? Wilder might have the best one punch power but Joshua has the cumulative punch power of no other in today’s world of boxing. Parker gets hit too easily and if you get hit easily against Joshua power it’s not lasting very long. Breazale just curled up for most of the fight and hid under a guard, Parker will come out trying to fight and leave himself open and BOOM!
Andy Ruiz can punch very hard and has a rock chin.......................no joke.....................Takam can punch hard.............Parker has had better opponents than Wilder who was almost knocked out by an old 50year old Ortiz, if not for Haymon's referee giving Wilder extra time, although Ortiz' cousin swears Ortiz is 59 years old...............
Ruiz, Takam, Meehan, Dimitrenko and Haumono are all decent punchers, with above average, while not elite power, nothing they landed on him came close to having an effect. AJ's power is overrated, he rarely scores one punch KTFO type KO's, its usually a flurry prompted stoppage after he hurts his opponents, Parker has decent defense and head movement, that he doesn't usually need to utilize, due to how good his chin is, he isn't going to rush in against AJ, he's smarter than that. Did he go all out against Takam and Ruiz? I think not, why would he try that foolish tactic with the biggest puncher he's faced? He'll play defense, work the body, control the pace, fight when he wants to fight, and hope AJ starts to gas out, and then pour it on him late.
Again I’ve seen the Parker fights. Do you know think he himself gassed against Takam and Ruiz? This game of my stamina and speed is better than yours AJ played by Parker is completely wrong IMO. Parker is getting KTFO. I can’t wait to discuss it post fight!
The Parker of old will return with a functioning elbow, you're right, it won't go 7, because Parker KO's him in 5.
I'll be honest I've never watched a single one of his fights on the day. I'm not a fan (he's boring and fake) and I'm not willing to pay to watch a guy fight from the beginning of his career. However I will be watching it tonight for the chance to see Povetkin and fingers crossed Parker to win....but I'm not paying for it.
