these guys have bad blood for each other, would be ortiz cash out fight if he loses, ticket back in the spotlight if he wins. in my opinion ortiz is finished but he should take this last payday and retire. if by some miracle he can beat rios he could buy himself a few more fights, but lets just face it the jaws of life have become the jaw of death for ortiz, as soon as rios starts teeing off on that mandible ortiz will take a knee.

i agree that he is done, but rios and ortiz genuinely hate each other, bad blood, something about ortiz bangin rios girl or something. it would be a great undercard for a ppv and would give ortiz some cash to end his career with. what would be left for ortiz if he loses? i don't hink he has a future in hollywood, possibly announcing?

Yeah, I'd be fine with this match up. It could be the "**** or get off the pot" fight for both of them. Honestly, it seems like the type of fight sadists would like, because this match would be a goddamn bloodbath.

This would be a very good fight. They truly hate each other and that just makes everything that much more interesting and personal. Rios, brings the fight but i would think Ortiz would trainer harder than ever to fight to then end.

dude the sad thing is if last nights fight showed us anything it's that victor will never be the same after having his jaw cracked, has a fighter ever come back from a broken jaw and not fought scared? it seems that as soon as ortiz gets chin checked he will lose it mentally and u know rios will have no mercy. makes me wonder how broner will do post busted jaw?

    Screw it.

Give me Ortiz vs. Berto II. Loser retires. Winner goes on for one more fight, loses that one, then retires.

Ortiz vs Berto II makes sense but theres no coming back for the loser

Unless Ortiz fights him possessed again he will probably get stopped

vic needs to hang them up
hes rich now he doesnt care. an its gettin easier for him to quit.
i mean come on is ur chin that weak that floyd mayweather can ko u..

and floyd win over victor looks like ****. in the fashion he got him outta there. floyd should been able to put him out of him misery with no controversy like everyone else.

i mean eventually he woulda found a way to quit but instead floyd had to sucker punch him but ortiz did start it wit the headbutt n it is protect urself at all times

Should retire, he'll just become the resident gatekeeper for fresher prospects, generally not a good place to be.

I hate to see a once promising prospect be demoted to this, but its the nature of the sport I suppose.

With that being said, he should want no beef with RIos, because he doesnt have the movement to like a Pacquiao to steer clear of those blows.

HE'd get hit eventually, and theres NO DOUBT in my mind the RIos hits just as hard as COllazo if not harder.

I think it's clear at this point in time that the moment Ortiz took a solid shot from Rios he would fold somehow.
