No, it´s because the best don´t face the best.
Ring stripped Stevenson, when has that ever happened?

Lebedev - Ramirez winner will be the first unified titlist at CW since David ****ing Haye.

Stevenson is running scared of Kovalev. Ward - Kovalev winner will likely be the new champ. (and rightfully so)

DeGeale and Jack are being set up for a showdown.

Canelo is making history... in the worst possible way.

    Lara already beat Trout.

Mayweather and Pacquiao retired. Khan ducked Brook. Thurman - Porter winner might nick it.
But i doubt GBP will give the Ring belt to a PBC fighter.

Crawford is being a punk but the odds are good that he steps in the ring with Postol.

Linares was to face Zlaticanin but got injured.

Uchiyama and Miura could not come to terms for an epic rematch. Vargas - Salido winner could get the belt.

Yamanaka is the clear nr1 at 118, already having beaten Moreno. Payano is nowhere to be found.

Gonzales is king at 112 but him and Estrada are acting like divas.

Nietes is running his own show. No, he did not deserve that Ring belt. Just as well could have given Kovalev the belt after he pummeled Pascal for the second time.

Strawweight is as divided as it coul possibly be.

RING stripping Stevenson goes along with the rest of the garbage hypocritical moves they've done since officially changing their title policy in the early Spring/late Winter of 2012.

    Good stuff.

What i mean is that nobody is in a rush to become a ring champ, and yes you need to be fighting the best to get this belt.

But his mind wasn't thereally, or was it he was drained, wrong socks, gloves or wrong hair cut ?

Russell proved to everyone when in the ring with a real talent he folds, I remember him not even trying to beat Loma. Or was it just that much of a mismatch. You can't ever be considered an elite talent IF you EVER get totally ****d for 12 straight ****ing rounds.

Getting ko'd 1 happens and can to anyone, but getting slapped around for every round proves too much to be argued away

It means nothing because the ring magazine is not a boxing commission. How many people would be able to tell who the champions are at any given time?

Ward needs to fight somebody with a good enough standing to place him #2 at LHW before the Kov matchup.

It's only right that the winner of Ward/Kovalev be crowned lineal.

I wonder if the ring would strip canelo of he ducked GGG after Kahn 🤔

With Oscars influence I can't see it ... Hope the WBC grows a pair and does it though even they do love a Mexican champion

According to the Ring, he can be anywhere from #1 to #5.
Hopkins will drop and Ward will most definitely jump above Alvarez.

The reason they stripped Stevenson is that he didn't fight a single top 5 LHW since winning the belt 34 months ago, which is perfectly conform their rules (rule #5). Even if he scedules a fight with a top 5 LHW tomorrow he's still a whopping 10 months overdue.
When Ward had broken 3 of the 7 rules already people were questioning why he hadn't been stripped yet, and when it seemed that Wlad had broken rule #5 by Povetkin's resceduling people here asked for his head too.

Ring belt should be renamed to ODLH's best money maker belt.
