Like who? Golovkin would be the most complete fighter ard will have faced, as would Ward on Golovkin.
If he had beaten Dawson at 175 then we'll talk but the fact the weight killed Dawson and he was starched in his next fight in better fashion doesnt help Ward. Froch isnt a bigger puncher at all. Frochs power is vastly overrated knocking out a chinny Bute and going life and death x2 against chinny Groves doesnt prove hes the heavier puncher. Hell Kessler arguably punches harder than Froch.
It doesn't change the FACT that Dawson is the more accomplished fighter. Dawson was coming off of the Hopkins victory with wins over Tarver, Johnson and Adamek. Exactly WHO has Bumlovkin beaten? Until Bumlovkin beats guys comparable to the guys on Dawson's resume; Dawson > Bumlovkin Froch has one punch KO'ed guys @ 168lbs. How many 168lb'ers has Bumlovkin one punch KO'ed? Until the Triple Duck grows a set, goes up to 168 and starts one punch KO'ing guys there; Froch's punching power > Bumlovkin's punching power
All said and done after their careers have finished GGG will be held in much higher esteem than the overrated Dawson. And GGG fights at 160, so he hasnt had the opportunity to be one punch koing guys at 168 you gimp, also outside of Groves i cant think of a fighter Froch has one punch kod at world level. :hi:
Maybe, but as of right now; Dawson > Bumlovkin Wake me when the Triple Duck comes off of his Bum of the Month tour and one punch KOs a top 10 168lb'er...
Ward beats him easily...and beats him up. But, the fight doesn't make anymore sense right now than GGG vs Floyd would've. It's too big of a weight gap with Ward moving to 175. I think Ward is too big for him. Now, if GGG moves up and dominates 168, that's a different story.
