I'll be there, Floyd and 50 wanna see me work so I'm work'n too

Exit Team Dirrell Promotions, in with Floyd?? As with Gamboa, not sure what kind of fights that would lead him to.

We might hear more about this over the next couple of days, Dirrell's in Vegas to spar and 'work' with Floyd.

...and yes, fitty looks fuuuucked up here.

Haha dude come on, he dumped Shaw & Haymon back in January.

Team Dirrell Promotions is where he's at. Leon Lawson is both his grandfather and promoter at the moment. :rofl

    :lol::patsch

I must say, I haven't followed Dirrell much since he dropped out of the Super Six.

It's possible that he could be teaming up with Mayweather. Best of luck to him, if he does.

One thing, though. Are him and Al Haymon still on good terms? Because, you know, Mayweather and Haymon are pretty close, and I always envisaged Haymon playing a big role in Mayweather's promotional aspirations.

That's a good question. Shaw went public and sounded bitter after this whole ordeal. Haymon didn't, not that I can recall anyway.

Dirrell always loved money, right... after the stinker with Stevens, did he not say "don't matter, I got paaaaaid!!!!".....?

    :D

I don't understand how from that sentance we got that Dirrel is next for Mayweather promotions?

Also Dirrell Parted with Al Haymon and I cant see Floyd doing anything with him as Al is Floyds go to guy.

i wouldn't read to much into it, the dirrel brothers have trained at the mayweather gym for a long time along with celestino caballero so its not really a big deal.

the fact that gamboa and caballero are there at the same time is interesting, hope they get to spar some time and someone is there to record it. maybe 24/7?

He said he was in Vegas to attend a meeting for his next fight. Now he's saying that Floyd wants to see him work. Reading between the lines here, but it's not that much of a stretch given the **** poor state of Team Dirrell Promotions as it is.

Maywaether said that if he had Haymon from the beginning he would be making even more money.

Dirrell's last fight is that far that he would need 2 more tune ups before fighting a big one. Two small purses on ESPN kind of fights. Unless he's stupid enough to jump to a big fight without the appropriate preparation.

Fortunately for him, his "team" won't be able to get him a big fight so he's in front of 2 options: being smart just a tiny bit and make some fights to get back in the mix or being very stupid and wait for the big one, and still wait, and still wait. So far, he seems to have taken the second route.

Mayweather is serious about this promoter game, he won't be Golden Boy but hell a few more acquisitions like this and he could be in the Shaw territory.

Acquistions like what? Has Gamboa actually signed with Mayweather? I haven't heard anything official. Does Mayweather hold a promoters licence?
