    Perfect scenario.. Also Adonis Stevenson and Al Haymon allowing Hopkins and Pascal to go fight Kovalev which would have been good wins on his resume..

    I disagree. Mikey should have taken the Cotto fight. The fact that Cotto was completely shot would have been significantly masked by Mikey's skills. It would be more like "Mikey is a monster!" than "Cotto was shot to pieces". The fact that Ali was unheralded made the victory less impressive, if that makes sense. Plus, Mikey would have been jumping 2 weight classes. Or 1.5 depending on the catchweight. But Mikey's grandfather Big G advised him to avoid the fight because he felt like Mikey could get seriously hurt.

    Canelo should have fought Sergio Martinez in 2014 instead of Erislandy Lara. It would have been a clever move, but Cotto arrived first and we all know what happened.

    Calzaghe should have taken the Pavlik fight. It was being touted for quite some time and I'd say 70% of this board fancied Pavlik at the time. Once Hopkins embarrassed him no one was interested. It would have cemented Joe's legacy.

    Yeah, Adonis vs. Pascal is another big miss. Hopkins too but I kind've
    understand why that wasn't made.

    gamboa vs lopez once upon time should of happened. but they let it marinate for way to long. and it just never happened.

    i would say adonis vs kovalev but i dont kno wat the hell the reason is for that fight not happening , maybe its in one of there best interest if the fight does not happen.

    I remember this, actually calzaghe was calling out Taylor but he priced himself out and fought Pavlik instead and then pavlik also priced himself out so Joe fought Kessler and the other guys had a rematch

    GGG should have taken the BJS fight when BJS 1.0 signed the contract to fight him in Kazakhstan. That was out of shape, not at his best BJS 1.0. Now 2.0 Ingle Sounders will destroy GGG

    Mikey vs Cotto, he was smart not to tie himself down to golden boy who are looking like they are on their way out, if Canelo can’t do numbers.

    Garcia and Broner, both probably got 4mil paydays for those fights, although I think Pac would have been easier than both those fights. So I’ll agree with you on that.

    Ward had no reason to fight Bute, Bute ducked that tournament and to be honest I see them same way I saw Stieglitz with that WBO belt, irrelevant.

    Do you mean in terms of paydays or just catching a fighter at the right time?
    In terms of payday Lucas Browne was an idiot to not fight Wlad.
