I didn’t mention Linares I said the Cotto deal. I think he wanted Linares but once Loma got involved Linares took that deal.

Garcia would beat Pacquiao for my money and I’m not sure if Pac could beat Broner in a more impressively fashion. If he can’t beat Horn then I can’t say that.

If you show me that video I will retract it, however I don’t think Ward ducked Bute, Bute beat no one of note, he was free to enter the tournament and opted not too. It would be the equivalent of me saying Groves ducked Ramirez if he doesn’t unify with him in the future.

Broners purse was undisclosed so I don’t think he got 1 mil at all. Garcia was garuntees 2mil but he probably got more on the back end.

 

I love Ward but dude had a huge ego.
Never heard of that deal but it sound like a really good one.

Funny how Adonis failed to fight either of the two Canadian super stars.

 

Barrera should have taken the Kovalev fight. He probably woyld have been stopped in that fight too, but for significantly more money and against a bigger name.

Garcia should have fought Bowe, he got a $1.5m offer and thought he could get more if he won a couple more fights... he got KO'd in his very next fight and never got himself back in contention after.

 

I can fully acknowledge the first video but just because he said the winner of the tournament should fight Bute, doesn’t mean he meant, right after the tournament was won? Does it?

Look at that last sentence? I don’t have to go to Bute right now. Bare in mind it doesn’t say I have no intention of fighting Bute. If Bute had beaten Froch all the pressure would have been on Ward and him to fight but he couldn’t get past that assignment and got sparked.

Please look at Butes record and show
the A level name that Bute beat? Why didn’t Butes team pursue the Stiglietz fight whilst he waited for the tournament to end?

 

However I would take back what I said about Bute not entering the tournament, I didn’t know he wasn’t invited.

 

I agree Ward should have fought Bute in retrospect and I think he would of if Bute had beaten Froch. However I still agree with him at the time for asking Bute to beat a name, like I said that would be equivalent of Ramirez expecting Groves to fight him right after the WBSS tournament. It wouldn’t be fair imo.

 

Ward would have beaten Bute worse than PBF beat Gatti. I have always said this and it would have been funny to watch. Ward had already won the Super 6 and proven that he was the best at 168. Who was Bute? A guy who was put on ***** st by a limited plodder Andrade and needed to be saved by a hometown ref to boot. The first time he got a chance to step up in comp he melted down in grand fashion and was brutally stopped by Froch

 

That Super 6 was orchestrated to make sure Ward won it

 

Stop it! It was actually set up for either Kessler or Abraham to win it. Ward was thrown in as filler. He was an opponent.
