Fury vs. Price shoud have happened, it would be an easy win for Fury against someone who was seen as a god at this time.

Business blocked the Adonis vs Kovalev from happening.. you would have to blame Showtime for paying Adonis a lot of money to change networks.. Main Event deserve some blame because they pushed to become the WBC mandatory but when it became apparent that they wasn’t gonna win the purse bid they pulled out.. the overall loser in this mess Yvon Michel.. He had Beterbiev Alvarez and Adonis and I’m pretty sure he promised those guys title shots but the Pimp wanted no parts of guys with a pulse

That tournament was all about showcasing abraham and kessler to the american public in hopes that they would turn into draws but it didnt work out like that because the underdog ward had other plans.

LOL! I remember picking Ward to win.....as the darkhorse aka spoiler, as he wasnt really known like Viking & the King.

I'm not sure anyone could predict what was supposed to have happened. BUT Showtime did run the event with Sauerland whom had both fighters U mentioned..I believe?

The other 4 or so promoters definitely compromised anything Sauerland may have wanted or intended, then add on a rash of changes, Glen Johnson, Green, Bika...I wanted Bute to get in as a sub...not sure what happened other than he said no?
    ---------------------------------------------------------

    Back on topic
Floyd Mayweather vs Antonio Margarito ( PBF fans say he wanted no part of Arum fighters,)
But how that would've nullifed a payday for him or his chunk of it his beyond me. Had he took the fight, he would've silenced the dedicated Floyd haters! He didn't so they got ammo for days.

Floyd Mayweather vs Paul Williams. PW called him out and was on a winning streak. Neither Pacman nor PBF even mentioned his name. I still think that was the style to outpoint him; long lanky fighter throwing a bazillion punches from every angle imaginable. Had Floyd won, Martinez would've never considered fighting PW. But he chose to (retire) at the time PW was hot.

Pacman staying at LW. Looking back --it seems close to obvious Pac could've cleaned out a division of young, hungry and undefeated fighters, but he fought a nonamer champ in David Diaz & cashed in on the golden egg DLH.

Baby Bull called him out, was undefeated. He would've won-- but JMM did it for him in grand fashion. 2x
Pac could've fought and beaten lineal champ Casamayor--So JMM did that for him as well.
Katsidis was exciting wild and undefeated..Pac could've been the one to take his '0' so JMM, Baby & Casa did it for him

I think Pac's best years were during that time. While he fought some big names, Cotto, Hatton, DLH, Clottey, Rito, Mosley all lost fights within a year of fighting Pac.
He could've been the thrilla from manilla that took the younsta's zera!! Ok, that was bad.

    Bro, be real.

Pacquiao would have laid a SAVAGE BEATING on Juan Diaz before stopping him. Katsidis and Casamayor would have suffered similar fates.

These aren't "damn, what if!" fights. The conclusions are pretty foregone.

The conclusions are pretty foregone.--------Living in the year 2018, yes.

But hey, if you didnt want to see him face undefeated young fighters instead of the old train, then that's on you.

As stated, I think he would've beaten them all.

So I didn't respond to a thread that said- what if!" fights..

Morales should have taken the fight versus the Prince, because he would have been the first to beat him instead of his biggest RivaI MAB.

This is true. Ward was the underdog in the whole thing and made a statement against the favorite in the opening round of the tournament. C.J. really doesn't know much about this sport he says he loves.

Really Mayweather was wise avoiding Margarito. Antonio would have walked through his pitty pats wore him down & knocked him OUT!!!! Floyd knew he couldn't beat Tony

Margacheatos only chance of beating Floyd was to load his gloves the way he did with Cotto.

If he had fought them and then only Cotto at welterweight, people would be saying Pac should have fought Mosley, Clottey, Bradley, Hatton, etc..
