I can also say Holyfield is better than Enry? Again styles, Toney and Qawi had a style for Holyfield, Holyfield (even the cruiser version…) has very favourable attributes for 60s Ali.

The fights against Holmes and Foreman were not close. Holmes did nothing but lay on the ropes throughout the fight.

I scored that bout for Holmes once, LH didn’t do much but Holyfield to quote Benton “couldn’t do anything with him on the ropes” I l think Larry landed the harder shots on EH and in slow motion you can really see the subtle aspects of LH’s defence he was a wall of arms, good eyes for rolling shots too. I would score the bout for Holyfield if I didn’t have slow mo though and understand why LH didn’t get the nod. Foreman bout has been rewritten… GF lost basically every round, Holyfield hit him so often he punched himself out and had to hold on for the final rounds lol.

I think this one would come down to who had the bigger cajones, and if there's one HW in history that had bigger cajones than Holyfield, then it was Ali. My money would be on Ali in a 15-round grueller akin to Manila.

Holyfield would be a tough fight for anyone because he was pesky and persistent. Yes, he could win it. Every fighter has negatives on their records that can be used as proof as to who would win or lose. Ali was not perfect either. He had fights where he didn't look all that great either. Did he ever truly beat Ken Norton in three tries? Some think not. Ali was not the perfect fighter some make him out to be.

I don't recall Holmes-Holyfield even being close really. I only remember Holyfield outhustling and staying on top of Holmes who was on the ropes for the entire fight.

That’s boxing!… seriously try the slow mo, if you can stomach it.
