I've seen plenty of Pacquaio fans claim that the Pacquaio who decimated Miguel Cotto would be able to beat the Mayweather who dissected Juan Manuel Marquez.

My challenge is an open one, and it is a simple one.

Technically and tactically break down and explain how that manny Pacquaio would have to fight that Floyd Mayweather.

I'm looking for educated points only.

    Let's see what you've got.

I'll make it real simple. Pac has the great equalizer, ie punching power. Back in 2009, Pac could hit you more with this great equalizer and had no qualms chasing someone around the ring for 12 rounds. Today, not so much. That really is the gameplan against Pac for anybody, stay out of harm's way and "box" your way to a points victory. Obviously that gameplan tends to work better against an older less motivated version of Pacquiao.

Such a technical and well thought out reply. :good

  6. It doesn't matter how hard you throw when it doesn't land.
But I think he would have gone in with much the same game plan as De La Hoya which is roughhouse. Up against the ropes and very physical. Still lose imo though

*******s seem to think floyd doesnt age as well and they also forget how much more talented and mobile floyd was in 09 compared to the current version of Floyd.

    Not good enough.

Punching power? Edison Miranda had punching power. Look where he's got too.

Pacquaio needs to create oppertunitys to hit Mayweather, how does he do this?

Mayweather will piunch back. How does Pacquaio avoid this?

    What would his stratergy be?

What adjustments do you see Pacquaio being forced to make?

    What about foot placement?

Don't worry about keeping it simple, I'm reasonably sure I can keep up with you.

I just think any version of Manny finds FMJ a stylistic nightmare.
An anticipatory style is kryptonite for Manny, and even his best in/out work plays right into FMJ's favoured capabilities. To get at Floyd you need to get in and stay in,and Manny moving back out would be on the end of short AND long rights all night.
If Manny learned to move in and plant without retreating,it would help his cause.
But I can't see it.No disrespect to Manny but he's always been totally wrong to beat FMJ.
Like Hatton would be terrible for Khan,I feel the same applies here.

These P(ED)turds have no real way of rebutting their utter bull****. The CongROIDSman does NOTHING and I mean NOTHING better than Money. No strategic gameplan will result in a horrific beating which will permaneny end PacGwire's overrated career in this sport.

You're asking questions that are self explanatory. Punching power is useless if you can't utilize it. I've flat out told you that 2009 version would chase Floyd down, instead of this older disinterested version who couldn't be bothered to take Bradley seriously. So what that this all imply? Pacquiao doesn't move the same way he did back then. You're asking about foot placement, adjustments, creating opportunities et al....well, if I implied that Pac's movement back then was off the charts than it should answer all your questions. Coz everything with Pacquiao, including his pwer starts with his legs, if that is now compromised than he is compromised. No need to get all "technical". It really is as simple as saying, Pac could hit you more back then, than he could now.

Look for bogotazo to come in and make the best points for emmanuel's case even though he *is not* a hardcore emmanuel fan, and then all the pacwhores will cheer lead his posts and pretend that's what they would have said too.

Finally ESB will get another replay of reasons Floyd whoops emmanuel from sjs vs bogotazo's ideas on why emmanuel has a chance.
