Damn, Golovkin wanted that fight in 2012/2013, Ward fought Rodriguez. Ward said now he needs at least two fights before facing an elite fighter.

What is Golovkin aupposed to do if Ward doesn't want this fight?

It's not that Ward was eager to fight Golovkin for the last 3 years. Why do you guys still make it look like Golovkin is not willing to fight Ward?

Get off Golovkin nuts and ask him to step up to fight a boxer who has a chance at beating him. Ward wants ONE tuneup (after being out for 18 months) and after that, sky the limit. This has nothing to do with racism, this is boxing you dummy.

You don't want Ward to exist because HE CAN BEAT GENNADY.

    1.) He wants 2 tuneups

2.) He will probably beat Gennady if they fight.

3.) After that fight do you want to see Ward take on a 'real challenge' and move up to face Sergey? If not, you're a hypocrite and the thread is pointless.

    1.) He wants 2 tuneups

I was under the impression from what I've been reading that he wanted 1 tuneup but please, provide a link where he said he wants 2 tuneups and I will eat my words.

2.) He will probably beat Gennady if they fight.

    Yes he will

3.) After that fight do you want to see Ward take on a 'real challenge' and move up to face Sergey? If not, you're a hypocrite and the thread is pointless.

This is a fight that Main Event and Roc Nation are discussing for next year so it more of a reality than Golovkin trying to fight him but most definitely I want Ward to fight nothing but top guys after his 1 tuneup.

The man is a Gold Medalist and the winner of the Super Six so there is no question he fights top guys. He fought Bika while he was competing in the Super Six and Bika was suppose to be a tuneup fight. Ward has faced real challenges and will continue to do so.

Well I read this year that he wants 1 tuneup :good

So i guess he changed his mind from 2 to 1, it happens all the time.

Kovalev and Ward is the fight that should happen. GGG is too small to fight Ward. Ward can't even make 168. Golovkin is a natural MW. The fight makes no sense unless you solely want to see GGG possibly lose. Why don't you have Ward fight Wlad, then we can talk.

Why do ya'll keep saying GGG is to small to move up 1 division...yet always want him to fight smaller fighters?

    Wards already a 175 fighter

So if Urinal's demanding GGG move up a division to face the best there, then he should be happy to see Ward move up and take on Kudryashov

I take it that English isn't your first language with all the misspelled words and lack of periods after your sentences.

How can he fight Ward when:

1- Ward has fought once since GGG made hos HBO debut- a fight where he said he needed to shake off ring rust, and no offer was made to Triple G

2- Ward still has not returned to the ring

3- Ward's next fight will be above 168, and Ward himself said he needs at least 2 fights before taking on a top fighter

So how can GGG fight Ward?

Golovkin isn't a LHW. Ward has to make a comeback first and GGG should go for the Cotto-Geale winner or Froch.

I could see GGG vs Ward in late 2016 not sooner

By that time i doubt Ward can keep out of 175

He'd better hope by then Kovalev and Beterbiev have outgrown 175 or he's getting his glass jaw smashed to smithereens
