Yes he is a sellout but then this is business so is to be expected. As long as Canelo is still selling PPV's it's not really a problem for him or GBP. Waiting is in Canelo's best interest, there is really no rush from his POV.

The only fighter who has a history of fighting suckers is Golovkin.

Canelo has only fought one overmatched opponent since he started wreaking havoc at 154 and that was Khan.

Golovkin's entire career is made up of chumps, has beens, and no hopers.

It's not so hard to imagine the Brook fight being bigger than the Liam Smith fight as an event in generating more buzz. Future events will definitely play into these negotiations

i agree. i would not have lost any respect for canelo had he said he wasnt ready for a fight with ggg but would work himself towards that fight, and admitting the cotto fight was a no brainer due to the circumstances. his attitude up to that point would have earned him a pass from most fans, but the way he played his hand just made him look like a fake tough guy bully.
taking the stage and puffing up his chest like he did, knowing full well he had no intention of defending that belt, just made him look squirrely.
we are just now starting to see the repercussions caused by his actions and its only going to snowball as more and more casuals and more and more mexican fans become aware of all the details regarding the blatant duck. gbp have put themselves in an indefensible position, people just need to hear the details about it so they can come to the same conclusion most of us already have.

When you look at the two fights you'll see the difference
Brooke is a legit challenge plus he'll probably outweigh GGG fight night
Smith is just another little lamb to the slaughter
GGG-Brook will do big numbers Pollo-Smith will tank

Idk about that skippy. GGG-BROOK is on HBO, While Canelo-Smith is on PPV both in the US and the UK.. So I think that's an overstatement coming from you.

No it's on BoxNation which has a subscription similar to regular HBO.
Both fights are PPVs just in different countries.

    Crying about GGG?

The only issue I have with the Little fellow is that he CRIES about having no one to fight when the reality shows he's had many opportunities to make a name for himself.

I agree. But it was foolish of Oscar to let the reputation of his 'Golden Egg' take a huge hit when it could have been prevented.

    I agree entirely.

Do you think if Richard Schaefer had been around things would have played out differently?
