It's just so disappointing to see what it's become in here now. As opposed to a bunch of ppl who are capable of a good discussion about our favorite sport and favorite fighters, we have a swamp full of leeches who suck out all the qualities that made it so much better than the main forum. Most of what we get now instead is a bunch of dropped as a baby morons who spew sensationalist, antagonistic bull**** that makes another Pac or Mayweather hate thread seem worthy of a fkn Pulitzer Prize.

Mundine is not worth writing about 24 hrs a day, 7 days a week. No matter what way you look at it. It's clear the forum is full of ppl who are more
into League and the 'boxers' (if u can call them that) that stem from it because they know more about them than they do boxers And boxing.

Tomorrows card has garnered more interest in the last 3 weeks than any fight Kats, Vic or any other Aussie boxer who has had a real go of it ever have. Which is as fkn disgraceful as the card itself. If you can accept tomorrows event as worthy of a pay per view then the bar has dropped so low in this country you'd need to dig to China to even begin raising it up again.

I know it's a bit of a rant and nobody is forcing me to keep coming to the forum, but I was so glad 8 or so years ago when I found a place where fellow
Aussies could have a good convo about boxing and I just hope that this incessant bull**** is just another of rhe forums phases and not all it has become.

You wonder why boxing isn't doing well in Australia? Why our standard compared to other sports isn't up to scratch? I'd bet a good amount of money it's because there are so many stupid shmucks who are willing to settle for ppv made of a lying, chicken ****, money hungry talent waste his and our time against another Argentine street beggar in a circus ring event with a talentless noob fighter in the form of an ex-leaguer. It might be entertainment, but it's more WWE than boxing... Atleast in WWE anything can happen. Tomorrows cArds results are so guaranteed it might as well
be scripted.

Indeed! He was one of the reasons I wanted to talk boxing with Aussies way back when. I was up there with Ash and teke etc arguing against MSTR and the others saying one day he'll prove haters wrong, he's so talented yadda yadda yadda. I still think he would have and would like to think he still can kick some ass but he just doesn't do it and instead makes farce after farce of a fight night. I can whinge all I want and it won't change the boxing landscape in Oz, but it pisses me off and I need to vent once in a while

I agree i think choc is good and worth talking about , but it gets too much as you said Kat vic and others should have as many posts . unfortunately it becomes hate and love for green and Mundine that takes over, Vic and kat and others do not polarise people, most if not all like them so there is little to debate everyone agrees so someone paost that Vic had a great fight and with no people disagreeing it becomes a litle post, with everyone either hating or loving green and mundine it gets 10 pages of people having a go at each other, the problem is they are the 2 that get the most PPV and so make the money and control the media about them, Daniel lane wrote grens book and always ahs a good thing to say about him Danny weidler is the same for choc what other fighters have the media in there corner. last one i knew was paul kent and kostya Tzsyu

 

People need to start other threads about other fighters....its that easy :good

I for one was very interested in Ippys top 100 and flamers top 25....people in the know should do more of that :good

 

I wish i knew that much, they have the knowledge you read what they say agree with miost if not all and then move on it's not really a debating point as it should be
