what are the advantages of this?

WBC: "The fighters and their corners are given the the opportunity to adjust their strategy and make the fight more competitive and dramatic."

thats bs. also lets a fighter take their foot off the gas and run around the ring if hes ahead. im not a fan.

Garcia will be 4-0 up without doing anything, forcing Herrera to attack. When the get to the 8th it's probably gonna be 6-2 to Garcia in what most people will have as a very close fight, this will force Herrera to get reckless & maybe walk into something.
