Opening for Murray/Mitchell winner?

    Soto has vacated his WBC lightweight title to move up to 140.

    Antontio DeMarco is ranked no.1 and John Murray is ranked no.2 so you'd think if Murray gets past Mitchell we'll get Murray/DeMarco for the vacant title.

    However, Jorge Linares is no.3 and reports today suggest that Linares and DeMarco could fight on the Hopkins/Dawson undercard so that could end up being for the vacant title :think

    Hopefully we do get Murray/DeMarco. IMO, that's a very winnable fight for John.

    Cousin Demarco vs Murray or Linares would be a quality fight IMO. One that I defo wouldn't miss.

    Both have very good chances, but I you could understand someone picking Demarco over both, considering Murray's average-ness and Linares's chin.

    There should be a good fight out there for whoever wins this one really. DeMarco is definitely a winable fight for Murray though IMO (or Mitchell for that matter)
