Short answer - neither are a good fit for each other.

If this guy is bashing up SHW's he needs to be fighting at HW where the money is.
I wonder why he isn't doing that?
Someone needs to send him a message and tell him about the HW division ASAP.

Eh, didn't hear you complain on miniq 150x troll threads though ? There was a thread about Opetaia going to sparring Fury, and how excited everyone was, etc, etc.

And while Briedis and Fury had nothing in common when it comes to size, reach, height, etc, etc, both are very dirty, and loves to maul on the inside, and pressure with holding and hitting.

Also does people realize Fury camp is in Saudi(i think), and Briedis somehow just go from Australia to Saudi, for just 5 rounds, and then go back to Australia .... Doesn't seems very likely.
And it's not like Opetaia didn't know that he would have fought Briedis, and that Fury is fighting Usyk, so obviously he was going to have southpaw sparring partners.

Could be nothing, but it's fun as so many people was making a fuss about Fury sparring Opetaia and how that would have helped him for Usyk, how Opetaia is the perfect sparring partner, yet it seems that doesn't worked out as planned.

And there is strong rumours everywhere that Fury was dropped twice by Opetaia and he was kicked out of the camp.
Nqh now there is statements from Opetaia co-promoters for the rumours Opetaia dropped Fury:

I think something have happen, otherwise there wouldn't be so much fuss about it, and so fast of a respond from either team/promoters.

Again there was zero sense for Opetaia to go to Saudi literally for 15 minutes, and then go back to Australia.

This is the similar rumours that we had for Klitschko and Usyk before the Fury fight. It was also rejected, but it turns out to be true that Usyk toyed with Klitschko and was told to go.

The given explanation doesn't really pass the sniff test when you think about it; it was hardly a secret the majority of Fury's sparring opponents would be southpaws given who he is facing, so if Opetaia wanted orthodox sparring experience why did he make the effort of flying to Saudi Arabia in the first place, just to spar five rounds and then leave again?

I think he always knew he was going to fight on one of the next two Saudi cards.

Yes but now he’s had it confirmed he’s fighting Breidis…. Who is orthodox and one of the very top dogs of the CW division.

Fury is fighting Usyk so the majority of his sparring partners are Southpaw.

Hence it now not making sense for Opetaia to hang around in that camp where he can’t get the correct sparring ahead of such a big fight. He made the right decision.

Why do I have to respond to his threads? I’ve put him on ignore so I don’t see any of them anyway. Rumours are rumours and sparring is sparring - this is common knowledge in boxing.

Gorman supposedly leaves up Dubois in sparring but when they fought what happened? Dubois absolutely annihilated him. There were rumours Dwejtko dropped AJ badly in sparring, Price did as well (that one is confirmed). Does this mean much? Absolutely not, AJ would beat the pair of them on the same night.

I get you don’t like Fury, I’m supporting Usyk in this one as well, but this thread is silly. I’m predicting a Fury win but I’ll be here if I’m wrong (which I could very well be).

Even if the rumours are true, they mean little. Sparring is sparring and does not determine who wins a fight. There were rumoured Joey Dwetjko dropped AJ in sparring, does that mean he would win in a fight? Absolutely not.

Mind games by Belly. He must think Team Usyk who are the masters of mind games are stupid. They overplayed it. Not just 1 KD but 2 KDs within 5 rounds, the first 5 rounds they sparred each other

Moses Itauma weighs over 240lbs, hits like a truck, is very aggressive and has a reputation for bashing up world champions and top 10 HWs in the gym, including CW Okolie when he was just 15 y/o which Okolie is on record saying is his hardest ever spar, but he's not dropping Belly?

Belly will be in fantastic shape for this fight. Contrary to what he says, he didn't take Ngannou seriously, as in he thought it would be a walk in the park for him, even more so after falling for the terrible pad work ruse, and Ngannou boxing a much more cagey and strategic fight than everyone expected. Even Ngannou says he doesn't have the element of surprise anymore which was huge for him.

The only southpaw near the top of the CW rankings is Zurdo Ramirez, and it was never mooted Opetaia would fight him. Again I think he always knew he was going to fight on one of the next two Saudi cards and he knew it wouldn't be against a southpaw opponent. I'm not saying I subscribe to the rumours Opetaia dropped Fury and was kicked out of camp, it's just odd Opetaia would make all that effort to travel to Saudi Arabia, spar for a day and then leave again.

Fury camp is also probably all southpaws.

Strong rumours? Lmao, started by random people on Twitter.

This is the guy who broke the news that Opetaia had left camp. The only reason this rumour about Fury getting dropped started is because of dumb ass people in the comments.
