Opetaia who is fighting on the Fury-Usyk undercard is joining Furys camp in Saudi. Jay seems like the perfect sparring partner. He is a fast southpaw with good footwork who is a little smaller framewise then Usyk.

Hopefully he knocks Fury out several times in sparring and softens him up a little more. After all, it's in his best interest if Usyk wins. It'll make he and his win over Breidis look all the more impressive.

And Usyk is sparring with Francis Ngannou, as we all know Ngannou not just beat, but embarrass Fury. Can you imagine how dumb Fury looks, with all his talking, how he would beat Ngannou and Joe Joyce on the street, in an empty room, and that he will fight in a cage, and all that nonsenses, where Ngannou was handicapped like mad and still beats his **** ?

    Let that sink:

And i wouldn't be surprise if Opetaia knocks him out cold, and they cancel the fight again.

I really don’t get their logic although I understand their critiques. I’m critical of Fury myself but I still want to see this fight happen and I hope nothing happens to stop it. It’s the best fight in the division and arguably the sport. I want to see both men at their respective bests.

Intelligent! I've often seen flashes of Usyk in Opetaia. Both southpaw, keep high guard, straight punches, busy footwork on the outside setting up angles. Both are quick to seize on openings. Nasty straight left. They are even similar height.

I can’t wait for this fight. We might see the best Usyk we’ve ever seen. I want to watch Fury trip over his own feet trying to deal with the angles. And that same venom in Usyk’s shots we saw against Dubois after he got pissed… Fury will be trying to eat the same stuff :D

Usyk is 1 inch taller and seems to have clearly bigger frame. But yeah, there are lot of similarities style wise. While their technique is different, both build their success on movement and feints. Opetia is as good sparring partner as you can get to prepare for Usyk. Itauma is another good one. So, I hope Fury will show up in the ring on February 17th

Depends on Opetaia's level of ambition. If he aims to surpass Usyk as a cruiser-heavy champ then he will want Fury to win.

Opetai will never surpass Usyk but he won't get defeated at cruiser

I agree it's unlikely but that's not how a top fighter thinks or should think. It's normal to want your rivals to fail so you can surpass them. Usyk failing would make the success Opetaia has later on seem more impressive by contrast.

Might be to Furys detriment, Opetaia might piece Fury up in sparring delaying this fight yet again...

Fury smashes all of Opetai's opponent past future and present with his eyes closed.

The underestimation and belittling of Fury is quite amusing.
