The main event is for the vacant Italian cruiserweight title, which has a lineage dating to 1988 with its most notable wearers being world champ Massimiliano Duran, current prospect Fabio Turchi and longtime (90's through aughts) Euro title contender Vincenzo Rossitto.

 

Pretty clear-cut gimme for Matteo de Ieso here in his debut.

Ignazio di Bella is a rotund LHW, standing 5'7. Yep, turns out he debuted at the age of 34 down at middleweight. His record is just 1-8.

 

Yeah, in pretty sharp contrast with the Russian card earlier.

 

Amarildo Vraja vs. Mozes Vasarhelyi, 6 rounds @ welterweight

 

Vasarhelyi, a Hungarian with two fights' experience (a win and loss, both via KO), walks out to Eminem's "mom's spaghetti" track, and has a white-fro haircut and hiked-up shorts that make him look fresh off the page of a 1930's boxing article newspaper clipping.

 

Another mismatch in height; Vraja (from Albania, coming in 2-0, both via KO) towers over Vasarhelyi the same way de Ieso did over di Balla, except Vasarhelyi isn't obese.

We're talking several inches here; BoxRec lists Vraja's height as 6'1". They don't have one for Vasarhelyi but I'd be surprised if he was more than 5'7" or 5'8" tops.

 

Dominant opening round for Vraja. Punctuated with a knockdown with probably seconds on the clock - and that will do it.
