Yes, he had a high work rate and threw really fast combos, the only fighht he was involved in that was boring was his bout v Hopkins, there was a lot of clinching and he found Hopkins defensive style hard to solve, he won a split decision v B-Hop.

 

Absolutely one of the best fighters in recent history.
His speed and combinations were high quality although some people were talking about his "slapping".
Remember what Calzaghe said after his fight with Roy Jones:
- I basically did to Roy Jones what he had done to others.

 

good world class guy who defended the ibf title once, and achieved a record for minor title defences in his embryonic division.

Not in the HoF category of say Barry McGuigan, but kinda backdoor entry below him. i'd rate dave boy ahead ph him too.
