Hi all, have been visting these boards for a number of months now, much more of a reader than a poster but this is by far the best boxing forum I know of, many resourceful users.

As a film student I was tasked to shoot my first short that focussed on lighting. Easy to make boring so I decided to base it around a boxer making a comeback who's played by my best mate, a boxer and a team captain at Aylesbury Boxing club.

Would be great to know what you other boxing fans think, it's only 5 minutes long and shot to 'Dream On' - Aerosmith. The beginning is more of a storytelling whereas the second half shows my mate's full talent. :bbb (Best watched in HD)

A bonus well done to those who can tell what fight the commentator audio is taken from and who's speaking DURING the credits :D

    Enjoyed it :good
It's funny how roles are reversed in your project. Reese actually knows boxing, but his acting (if that was him) is where it felt fake. Whereas films are usually the other way around.
    Good luck

Much appreciation for the feedback, especially from two user who know their stuff. Ha you're right their JDK, for a video like this though I was lucky to have a talented boxer for a friend.

And correct to the commentator matches, good job!
