Lot of good lads on here with decent debates and it very rarely gets personal. Just leave us all to it.
Sea of red this thread. Joshua is now acknowledged by the mainstream media and his own promoter as mentally shot. We called it way back.
Interesting read with some very shrewd fight fans on it who know their boxing. Any idea why all these people are banned as many of the posts read as opinions of a fighter with some banter thrown in.
It seems like the Joshua contingent represents the liberal left with the cancel culture. Just a guess looking at the thread.
Nope i see your new here, largely most people are fine but there are a small number of people who will criticise AJ no matter what and an equally small number of people people will defend him no matter what. Then it evetually devoles in to a guy with an irrational hatred of AJ logging on with multiple alt accounts to have a conversation with himself and then accuse others of being alts. It was weird behaviour but seems to have calmed down now.
Terrible that mate. Imagine actually being that much of a loser. Tends to be the jobless and uneducated folks leeching off the government that do that. Almost always potheads!
Lets not call people names and judge them mate. The guy is still a human but he obviously has very serious issues and needs help.
He could KO Fury and Wilder in the same night and he wouldn’t silence his critics. He is a polarising boxer on here. Overrated by his fans and underrated by his haters. The reality is he probably is somewhere in between. His fans rightly point out that his resume is pretty good, lots of decent wins. The nature of his losses (particularly Ruiz) do show he isn’t the second coming that Hearn had led many to believe.
Good post but I’m sure he’d be given credit if he were to knockout Fury n Wilder. Just that he obviously would be huge underdog against both and probably wouldn’t. I think he’s found his level and that’s a solid top 15 guy. He simply lacks the wins against the top fighters. Entertaining style, shame about the way he is out of the ring.
I agree he would be an underdog vs both. And there was hyperbole in my comments. I just don’t see how someone can say he isn’t in the top 5 currently. That doesn’t mean he is elite. But aside from Fury Usyk, you have Wilder and Joyce - AJ has better wins than both of them so if he isn’t top 15 where are they? The 5 of them probably make the top 5 in whatever order you fancy (bar the obvious 1 and 2)
