For reference the Canelo vs GGG 2 fight apparently did 20-30k buys. If it matched that again where in the world are the other 425k buys coming from. Dan Rafeal is miles off
People are allowed to watch boxing outside of the USA and the UK you know. It’s perfectly plausible that the fight did 400k buys in Mexico and Kazakhstan combined. You were doing this for Stevenson v Valdez too - refusing to acknowledge that anyone in Mexico may have watched it
So with Matchroom taking a bath on this, and Warren doing the same with Fury vs Whyte, I wonder if this is going to change their thinking with match making going forward.
