Opinions of DAZN coverage

So given other discussions going on I thought I'd go to DAZN and see if I was actually tempted into buying the Eubank-Benn fight.

Home page - logged in, no mention of it. Only boxer on show is Tyson Fury - "is there an appetite for Wilder-Fury 4". Bizarre.
Refresh - some content comes up (one single video) about the "family feud" but no mention of subscription.
Clicked on "Pulse", it asks me if I want alerts on... football.
Lots of football previews and Red Bull TV.
Had to navigate through the schedule, find the show and magically "Buy for £19.99" appears.
They're not really trying that hard unless they're only targeting new subscribers...

It's absolutely robbery. So it's going to cost more than Joshua vs Usyk or Whyte vs Fury

 

Can't believe how brazen they are. Absolute thieves and liars.

 

Speaking to my mates about it, most of them casual boxing fans will tune in for the big ones etc. no one cares at all and the price point has further watered down their appetite. Think this has been a huge misfire tbh

 

What the hell! In the space of a year they've gone from 'PPV is dead' to 'it's possible for the big fights' to 36 quid for a non-world title fight against two fighters no where near each other in weight. What's next? 50 quid for Katie Taylor vs KSI?

How is nobody at DAZN grabbing Eddie by the scruff of the neck and challenging him about his awful UK schedule?

It’s been abysmal for months.

 

@Trafford will do it, he works for Matchroom.

 

Rumours are that he shines in his role at Matchroom due to his renowned observation skills and multitasking skillset.

He polishes the shoes while earwigging when Hearn Snr and Jnr are on the phone.

 

So am I correct in saying that bars /pubs don’t can’t show Eubank Benn?

 

They can, all they need is a Smart TV and a £28 DAZN UK subscription

 

At £20 I was tempted but having to pay for a subscription on top has completely changed my mind. Count me out.

 

A bar or pub will have to pay more than £28 to show this surely ?

 

At present all a bar needs is a Smart TV and a £28 DAZN UK subscription. There is nothing else in place at present for business subscriptions in the UK for bars like Sky Sports.

DAZN UK will be very popular this weekend in many bars
