Don't forget you get a month's DAZN subscription as well! You can watch Chantelle Cameron vs a Wetherspoons barmade for the Frey Bentos title.
Hold on explain why it is illegal to show DAZN UK in bars for those that subscribe and pay the £28? There is no other option in place at present in the UK and DAZN do pride themselves in customers using their flexible streaming anywhere on any devices. My local is showing the fight and the owner has paid his £28. You will find nearly all pubs showing the fight on Saturday following the above - there is no other option at present.
DAZN should in theory have an arrangement with Sky to use a channel just for pubs much like Amazon do with their Premier League coverage.
Much like when you buy a DVD it will say in the small print that it’s for private and not public viewing. Pubs don’t pay the standard Sky Sports subscription or £20 PPV price, they have to pay thousands to broadcast sports. That’s why you see the little pint glass on the screen in pubs, cos they have people that do spot checks to ensure pubs aren’t using a residential subscription for business purposes.
Correct with Sky but DAZN UK have absolutely nothing similar in place for pubs in the UK at present and there are no legal restrictions at all to stop anyone subscribing to DAZN UK for £28 showing the fight to one friend or 100,000. I know a few bars that are now showing the fight having paid the £28 Box Office charge on DAZN UK.
