2022 would be the biggest year in Matchroom Boxing´s history with 50 shows worldwide. They wanted to organize events in 6 - 8 new countries. Matchroom Boxing will be much stronger by the end of 2022... So how did it go ? Did we get 16 UK Shows of which 3 - 4 would be blockbuster events ? How many new countries did Matchroom organize events in ? Is Matchroom Boxing stronger now than it was 12 months ago ?
I’ll do @Trafford ’s job for him and answer. They did 30 shows (promised 50) They did 13 UK shows (promised 16) and in my opinion none were blockbusters. They did shows in 2 new countries (promised 6-8) I’d say 0 in 3 is pretty good for Hearn’s track record of lies.
Totally agree. Incidentally, Matchroom Boxing has not gotten any stronger within the last 12 months. It looks more like a ship with a captain without a compass.
Crawford Avanesyan only did 5000 PPV buys at $39.99, whereas Canelo GGG III did over 500,000 buys at $64.99 for existing subscribers and $84.99 for new subscribers. BLK Prime is the definition of an unknown app, not DAZN.
The whole DAZN subscription model must be going up in smoke soon as more Box Office cards than other cards.
How many of the 200-300 DAZN UK subscribers watched the female Champions League Football tonight? Eggie Hearn stated 15 but it was really 3.
DAZN UK Subscribers should know by now that they pay for Matchroom Air Fresheners in the month of January.
Celebrity Boxing is not for me. This is probably what drives new subscribers to DAZN UK, so we all have to get used to a new reality with more circus and less real boxing on DAZN UK.
