Agree with your post, however I remember her ring walk being terrible mate. Couple of girls with pompoms, hardly Naz on the magic carpet.
What day will the free tickets be advertised on the seat filler site for Saturdays Sunny Edwards show? I know you are In the know for Matchroom so you might know? Been absolutely cracking for my Nothern based mates, tonnes of free tickets have been given away for Liverpool, Newcastle & Manchester shows they have attended this year,so guess it will continue for June's shows in London & Sheffield......let the good times keep rolling, only need beer & food money
Very good old son. Hearn would never let on he has ever given away one single ticket to any of his shows
Sadly it won’t because they cannot, for whatever reason, make the big fights consistently on their channel. It’s not their fault that boxing politics are a nightmare, but they need to start getting Canelos big challenges against American opposition on the channel, like Benavidez. Wilder v AJ is good fight for them though, but will it be exclusively with DAZN?
There are so many events now with shallow undercard’s in the UK especially in London that it’s very rare for them to sell out. To be fair to Matchroom, Cordina sold out the arena in Cardiff and Taylor sold out the arena in Dublin. Their NxtGen show in Newcastle also sold more tickets than Davies Ritson at the same arena a week apart. I believe the Dalton Smith show in Sheffield has sold more tickets than when Sunny Edwards fought Felix Alvarado at the same arena last year. There is a reason why Frank Warren only does shows in Telford and York Hall.
You've missed out Manchester Arena, Wembley Arena, O2 Arena, Tottenham Stadium and the Copper Box from the last 8 months. Easy mistake to make.
And (unless I'm mistaken, for which apologies in advance) but he doesn't get caught in "sellout" hyperbole either. Old school promoter who says "good crowd, hoping for a few more sales before the bell" etc. Which may not whip up the hysteria Matchroom sometimes does but it's a bit more honest too.
Yep we’ve already had that in here and again why are you tagging Trafford in all your pro-Matchroom posts like you’re wanting some kind of seal of approval for being a top Matchroom fan. 11,000 was the crowd at the Shields fight. Even if all of those bought tickets, that works out at 55 quid a ticket. Seeing as a standard ticket was $15 on Ticketmaster I’d suggest your little source is telling porkies. Clearly a ploy from her team to try and take a pop at Savannah Marshall’s selling powers and to make Shields out to be a bigger draw than she is. Gate receipts are irrelevant anyway in this discussion. Trafford is claiming there was 11k at Shields v Marshall whilst using quotes about the crowd from Shields vs whoever she fought at the weekend. I’m saying there was more than 11k there. Couldn’t care if the tickets were a grand or given away in a Cornflakes box, there was still more than 11k there which is the whole arguments ffs.
apologies if this has already been asked, but what is the website for these seat filler free tickets?
I have never understand the fascination with how many tickets someone sells, the amount the show makes etc. Why so invested, unless it affects your personal circumstances and bank balance?
