Opinions of DAZN coverage

I didn’t even know it was on, but that’s the problem with our game at the moment. A lot of boring, utter rubbish.

 

You could see Garcia fighting lower level opponents as his career goes on, because the social media following and his brand would allow the price to stay up. Hope his career doesn't end in a Tyson black hole of mediocre opponents though.

I noticed in Feb 24 and March 24 two Gift Code £0 payments and will be keeping an eye on the bank account as many people have had accounts raided in the past.

 

Strangely enough I tried to change the card a few months ago to one that would auto-expire (nice feature of one of the app-based banks) but DAZN wouldn't allow it. In any case it's on a card that notifies every single transaction since I use it so little...

 

Just had an email from DAZN. Haney v Garcia £19.99 in the Uk. No ones buying that.

 

I am very disappointed with DAZN. Why don't they offer Haney vs Garcia at a lower PPV price for the loyal customers ?

 

That is absolutely ridiculous. They'll be lucky to make £39.98

I’m not that fussed on the fight to be honest. Haney’s a good fighter but no fun to watch and Garcia’s all over the place. It’s got lopsided points decision all over it. De La Hoya is cashing out on Garcia.

 

They should be giving it away to anyone holding a sub since (say) 2021. Voucher to redeem for the next non-UK PPV or something like that. Retaining customers has to be the game for DAZN just now rather than obtaining new ones?

 

'Included as part of your subscription' for many but won't even bother to get up and watch it.

 

Didn't seem to be included in anyone's sub that I could see; Garcia earns a lot and I guess it's written into the fight contract that it's PPV only worldwide, but still...

 

Pretty sure this is an about turn. When first announced 99% sure they had it advertised “as part of your subscription”. Not interested in this one anyway. That means Munguia v the Benavidez ducker will be another money grab!
