One of those things. Well, could have been liquored up. But I lean towards incompetence, that card is too stupid to be thought through.
The first fight is complicated to score. First 3 and last 3 rounds I gave to Canelo. Golovkin only had his moments after Canelo dominated for the first minute or so , and even then Golovkin only had success with a jab. Canelo was the ring general by defusing Golovkins attack. The moments Canelo settled down was the opportune time for Golovkin to send in the artillery , but he never did. He never upped his game in either fight , fighting the same way he did against Jacobs and Lemiux. That was never going to be good enough You have to go through the fire and take risks to beat the elite. . He certainly didn't do that for the rematch , but Canelo did. Canelo risked it and took chances to get the win in the rematch. .. Everything Canelo did in that rematch is what Golovkin should have done. Fury and Canelo showed how to approach a rematch - with huge heart courage and bravery. . . You're either cut from that cloth or your not
Completely Irrelevant . . All those journos had picked Golovkin to win before the fight .. Just like same journos all predicted Manny to beat Horn. Lets see how they scored that fight shall we??
BTW...who is that Scottish guy who does the Sky/DAZN bouts? From the fights Saturday night. I'm usually pretty good with accents but he is incomprehensible to me...basically a 21st Century Rab Nesbitt.

This content is protected We all know Horn gave Pacquaio a pasting and was the deserved winner , yet they all scored the fight for Pacman (the same who all scored for GGG) , which proves they DKSAB
First fight I gave Canelo rounds 1, 2, 3, 4, 9, and 12 with round 11 being a swing round, so I scored it 114-114 or Canelo 115-113. Second fight I remember scoring it 115-113 either way. Canelo is clearly the better and greater fighter.
1st fight GGG won 7-4-1 or 7-5. This was a fight where the rounds GGG won were clearer than Canelo's. 2nd fight I had GGG winning 7-5 or a draw 6-6, but the rounds Canelo won were clearer.
Canelo fights too often have that one outrageous scorecard in his favor. Beating Trout 118-109 Drawing with Mayweather 114-114 Beating Lara 117-111 Beating Cotto 119-109 Beating GGG 118-110
He always seems to have at least one judge "in the bag" so he only needs one more for a win. Its easier to bribe one than three. Even better if one judge scores for the other guy; makes it reasonable.
I used to wonder why not score the fight close if you're Byrd, no one would care about a 115-113 card but instead this fight (that at least some impartial observers think was a legimate Canelo win) is tarnished. A little embarrassed it took me so long to realize you need to build a huge lead in case there are late KDs.
You said the majority before scored it 114-114. The majority had GGG winning. I have posted 60+ cards here before, I'll look for it. If I find that one the draw are way less frequent. By the way may we see your card?
