Opinions on Sonny Liston

Liston did not defeat Marshall in his 7th pro fight.

It was actually his 8th pro fight and he lost.

I've seldom seen a more evenly matched "pair".

 

Great boxer but we need more film from when he was younger.

I think his power is a bit over rated but he was a great puncher. But at 75 percent of his wins by ko, there were many who had better percentages. but also, I believe George Foreman.
